At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

In a dark and decadent city, corrupt cop Sean Fallon will have to face his own demons to put an end to a series of brutal rapes and murders of the most weirdest kind. With the help of the local pimps, Fallon will go on the hunt for a serial killer...We have B-movie celebrity Misty Mundae as Mary and genre favorite Lance Henriksen as a wheelchair-bound jerk. And that is about it.Honestly, I felt like there was something to like about this. Dirty cops, a serial killer and prostitutes... that already makes a good story. The acting was good, as was the location scouting. But for some reason the production value just seemed bad, with the cameras coming across as cheap. And that brought it all down for me...

First you must know that i love "Z-grade movies" "thrash cinema" "crap movies" and "no budget". I like movies like Violent Sh#t, Cannibal Capout, Zombie Bloosbath, Sadomaster, Ozone...you know, bottom of the barrel shot on video stuff....Dying God is in the same category of those films. Its cheap, its looks bad, its very bad acted, the editing sucks. The problem is that this movie is very boring. Dying God tries too hard to be "serious" or something like that (the "comedy" moments are really unfunny ones). The movie is about a cop that investigates a series of killings. Its insane to talk about "plot" here. Not enough gore and skin here to save this mess. Misty Mundae is dressed all the movie, so imagine. Lance Henriksen denigrates himself by making a cameo here. 2/10

It is extremely rare that I do not finish a movie that I start but this movie was awful. I tried to hang with it but this is not just an ordinary "B" movie. If there was a home for "B" movies, this one would be left out in the cold. The acting was as pitiful as I have ever seen. The male lead forced every word he spoke. If this gentleman had any acting classes it is my guess he did not do very well. I had absolutely no feeling towards his character, a good actor brings you into his role and makes you feel his sorrow and pain. In this case the only pain I felt was in my stomach which was made much better when I turned this waste of film media off.

I don't know were to begin, as everything with this movies is so terribly wrong. For starters, it is shot with a hand-held digital camera - which makes for a feeling of crappyness. It's not pleasant to look at all. The acting, direction, soundtrack, plot, script; every god damned thing about this production is flawed. And I can't believe that someone put money in it, or that a company decided to distribute the shitness. Sure, even low budget movies can be entertaining or even great, but if that is to be a reality, you will need a director that actually can direct and actors that actually can act. And a plot that seems fairly thoroughly made. This movie has neither. Some low budget movies are intentionally bad, and therefore creates a entertaining value of it's own. But here there's not irony or self distance to be found... This movie is nothing but embarrassing and every single person that was affiliated with the production, should be banned from the movie industry.
