this turd is so bad i wasn't sure i should review it.but,if it keeps one person from seeing it,i'll be happy.i got through 37 minutes and just couldn't take any more.i don't know who comes up with this stuff.are they out on the streets among the rest of us? i hope not.anyway,this is billed as a vampire movie.there is also a couple of lesbians,a dysfunctional family,some gang violence,and some really disgusting scenes involving the vampires feeding.but this mess is not coherent at all,the acting(and i shudder to call it that) was beyond atrocious.the dialogue,again beyond words in its horribleness.If you have 5 dollars and a half dozen or so friends,congratulations you've just made a better movie.a very weak 0/10

Now this is honestly not the greatest movie but it's definitely refreshing to see a horror movie that comes from someone who has been taking notes. Lesbians are a must in these movies but since WB has taken over the Hollywood horror game, we'll only see lesbians in B movies. Is this as good as Near Dark? Of course not, not even close. But does this movie have some cool images, sexy lesbians, and fun fake looking blood? Yes. Naked lesbians? Jackpot! I can't stress enough to you that this movie has girls kissing and actually looking like they like it. People who rip this movie like their horror t.v. friendly and slick with a big budget. Fans of low budget fare will love this. Is the acting great? Not really but there are a few people who stick out. The guy who played the father and the angst ridden daughter who has been missing in action while sleeping with her sexy girlfriend both come through. There is some confusion with what this movie wants to be but it's still pretty ambitious considering the budget is probably around 500 grand. This movie kind of meets in the middle, it has suburbia America meets the ghetto. There are even a few new attempts at disturbing imagery and it works okay. It's always fun to see a vampire cut open her breast and feed her newly turned baby. Haha... classic.

I have seen plenty of vampire movies in my day. And this one goes from bad to worst. The acting is horrible with all of the performances reminiscent of a bunch of five year olds during a Christmas pageant. The plot line makes no sense offering no explanation for why any of this is happening and showing us that there is no consequence for evil taking over a neighborhood. I kept waiting for there to be some redeeming quality to this movie. Something to make it seem like I didn't waste an hour and thirty minutes of my time. Alas, even lesbian sex could not pull this one out of the gutter. Maybe this is meant to be a parody. In which case...it still sucked (no pun intended). So do yourself a favor, if you see Dark Town at the video store, don't rent it. If it comes on cable, don't watch it. We have to send a message to these people that bad movies will not be tolerated.

oh my.. this movie is not worth your time. its not even cheesy to the point of being funny. it was a waste of a video rental in my opinion. the lesbians were pretty cute, and the over done "urban black youths" were funny.."yoz fool..we gots to get up outta here and kill us some foolz!" i definitely would not recommend this movie to anyone...it makes no sense, the acting is absolutely terrible..and the vampire makeup is very 2nd grade halloween party-ish..ugh... i'm a very big horror fan and this really disappointed me..and now for my seven year old sisters review " amber..i thought this was supposed to be scary..its just a bunch of flashes and ulgy girls with fangs and blood..can we watch something else..?"
