A quiet town is jumpstarted by the arrival of an enigmatic family; a statuesque mother named Louisa and her gorgeous teenage sons. Sixteen Year-Old Hilary is working hard to get good grades, hoping to escape the small town life a long line of relatives lived before her. With the arrival of the mysterious family just weeks before school is to let out, life suddenly becomes appealing. Hilary's father is instantly charmed by Louisa, while she herself finds a strong connection to middle son Kadin, ignoring her dubious instincts. As the town falls under the hypnotic spell of the young men, no one but Hilary sees the peculiar loyalty that holds them together and the lengths they will go to give their mother what she needs until it's far too late.

I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
I was so excited to see Jane from the GoGo's in this and I would have killed to have her as my math teacher. This movie was gorgeous, a work of art, beautiful like a watercolor painting, that I even forgot I was watching a horror movie. By the end it reminded me with a major violent, shocking end to the story that was sad, but also satisfying. This for me was totally like the movies "Lost Boys" put together with a bit of Chic Flicks and add some "Stranger Things" and I love HoneyBee for being the first horror movie recently to get into the whole 80s vibe again and set the tone. Love it!
OK so this was actually really good and I even made an IMDb account just to write a review for this because I am HOPING someone on the movie sees it and can answer my questions or at least like make a wiki page that tells the whole plot so I can see if I'm missing stuff. So my sister and I rented it on amazon and we didn't even pause it, it was so good. Right away I was like omg something crazy is gonna happen, I know it, and is Kadin bad? Is he good? Is he lying to Hilarie to get her to his mom? Is his mom a witch? What is happening! It was so good. And the acting was so much better than so many movies we watch. There was like some corny stuff that annoyed me, like the high school felt so sad and boring and like who would want to be in high school there it's so lame and my high school people are always screaming and getting in trouble so that wasn't realistic. But I like the ending a lot even though it was so sad it was gooooood. My question is though WHAT exactly ARE THEY!!???? I think I figured it out but I am not sure. Also I would like to know about some of the guy actors in real life....
I don't often write reviews on here, usually only on the iTunes but my granddaughter had been waiting for this movie for a while. We watched it together this afternoon, myself, two 10 year old girls, an 8 year old boy, my 15 year old granddaughter and a friend of mine who is closer to my age and we had the best time. I loved that it wasn't violent until the end and then of course it needed to be to go with the story, but there wasn't pointless violence. I love that it was so pretty to look at and I couldn't take my eyes off most of the cast. And Jane from the GoGo's was in it I could not believe how neat that was and she was so adorable! (I'm a fan of the GoGo's) so that was a really interesting person to have. I just have one question about the end... It almost felt like it was being set up for a sequel but if not did it mean what I think it meant? Really liked this movie, felt a lot of female energy in it and that is a rare treat and great for my granddaughter to see that.
the only reason i gave this a 1 is due to the fact you cant choose 0. the film it self looks as though it was shot with a VHS camera, the acting was not convincing at all...looked more like a bunch of kids role playing at recess. slow, predictable, unoriginal..a completely, for lack of a better word, stupid antagonist, the boys in this film are by no means ugly, but the film tries to hard to be "hip" and wardrobe made very bad choices with all of them! man buns, top knots and shaved side for everyone...complete tripe. how the hell this is sitting at 6.4 or whatever is beyond me, and i do, for the most part, like a good B horror movie...this isn't it... avoid this turkey at all costs...don't believe the ratings, don't believe anyone that tells you it's good, cuz it ain't, and you don't need those types of friends!
