So much average

i must have seen a different film!!

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

One of the best films in the Pakistani film industry Plot: the story is about three friends whose lives are influenced and affected by Islam.Flaws: there are absolutely no flaws it is an excellent movie.Music: excellent Acting: Shaan Shahid is excellent. Fawad Khan is good it may seem that at some places it may not live up to the mark but you could see he was putting great effort into it. Iman Ali is most effective. Her ascent, tone, expressions make you move with her character. Naseeruddin Shah is outstanding in his small role when he is in the scene you completely forget your surroundings and are sucked into the movie.Overall this is an excellent movie and one of the best films in the Pakistan film industry.

I saw Bol from the same director and gave it a nine. Found that this earlier work was even more highly rated here so had a look. Script content was definitely eye opening giving an insight for me to another religion and culture. However at 3 hours long, it was slow and could have had 30 mins trimmed. The acting was also rather stiff. As a movie enjoyment, it is worth a 5 but i gave it a lower score to balance the bias likely from other voters.As far as religion goes I can not believe how it is acceptable to force a marriage onto someone without consent. I have 2 daughters who I love dearly, who also love me in return. I can never fathom doing anything to them that causes them pain and misery.The best religion is one which teaches you to live life and treat others how you would like to be treated.Cheers.

Muslims did not hate USA. Awesome Movie for Muslims and Non Muslims. Before watching this movie I thought its boring movie. But I was wrong because there is a lesson for Muslims and Non Muslims. Every Muslim is not a terrorist. People make the terrorist just like American govt. They catch the wrong people and beat them. Even that every citizen of America says that this is ridiculous. Muslims did not hate USA. Islam protects us to the evil. Every man has its own rights in any religion. Shan and other actors did work well. This film is not against American people but against American government policy and injustice. I am thankful to Shoaib Mansoor who took this great idea for Muslims and Non Muslims.

Khuda ke Liye means "in the name of god" deals with the problems Muslim youth facing today and the most important of them is culture clash between generations.beside being a very important movie,to see to understand many situations under which peoples life get affected wrongly,it is a very daring and courageous effort from makers of the movie.the main problem with cinema of India and Pakistan, they don't deal with problem of their own country but this movie does.the story of the movie revolves around a Pakistani Muslim family,two brothers,one living in Pakistan have two sons who want to become famous singers and another one have daughter living in America, i will not tell rest of story as i want you peoples from different countries to see this movie so that you can understand and this movie can give you lots of answers about terrorism and the situations and conflicts that affect the life of innocent peoples,how they are forced to do what they don't want to do,how a innocent man can accused of crimes he did not commit in a country like America.beside being based on such a nice story,the movie is filmed very beautifully and perfectly.i am still wondering how they achieved such level production quality.great acting and direction.a must watch,very important movie to understand what is going on "in the name of god"
