It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

We saw this at the Horror-on-Sea film festival yesterday and really enjoyed it. I don't know what the budget was but it looked incredibly slick and well produced. It's a novel idea about a phone app that gets more involved than the owner would probably have wanted! Some good 'ouch' moments and the app is very reminiscent of HAL, albeit a female version, in 2001: A Space Odyssey - I wonder if the fact that our protagonist is called Dave is no coincidence! I'm glad they wrapped it up when they did as there was a hint of what could have happened to Dave but witnessing it would have probably been less effective than our imagination. Really enjoyable and hope you make more movies
