So much average
One of my all time favorites.
Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
This is a 10-minute movie by notable documentary director Les Blank from over 45 years ago. The music and narration comes from blues singer Lightnin Hopkins. And that says it already. There is music in here. There is narration in here. The are animal recordings, landscape recording and small town recordings. really lots of content for such a short film and sadly none of it is really elaborated on in detail. It's probably a good watch for fans of the artist featured in here, but for the rest I am not so sure. Also, nothing is really happening. It's not a bad watch if you are just exhausted after a long day of work and want to lean back and chill, but if you want to watch something exciting, there are many far better choices out there.
