So much average
While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
I couldn't watch the full documentary. It makes me sick to know this is a legal business! How can you stand there with a smile on your face while the mother is begging for her baby. Selfish and ignorant! And shame on the people who run this disgusting business! Just like the puppy mills! Those poor monkeys living out their lives in cages in someone's backyard shed, and then to have their babies taken from them! This should be a documentary on the horrors of this industry, and not giving air time to people who can't see past their selfish needs! Absolutely heartbreaking. Wish this would have focused on the negative implications this business has on the animals.
