In addition to including highlights from some of the show's dynamic performance numbers, this television special takes us into the lives of the cast members to illuminate how this culturally diverse company was able to bring their dreams of performing on the New York stage to fruition.

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
