Reviews
Sorry, this movie sucks
good back-story, and good acting
One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
This film has so much to offer on many subjects. It is about history which includes both Stalin and Hitler. Its about a boys love of his parents and their love for him. It is about overcoming tremendous hardships. Its about the power of music to heal and unite. Its about how a boy overcame and became a man that changed the world for the good. I highly recommend this film. This true story allowed me to view the harshness of two of the worlds evil dictators through a personal account. I placed myself in the situations and wondered if I could have faced the pain without letting it make me bitter. Not only did Botso have the character to not turn the pain inward he also went far beyond by turning the love outward. The music is so powerful and inspiring .
