All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

The video was very informative as well an interesting. I did not know we as woman did not get as much credit we deserved. One thing about this video it has proven that woman is smarter than what they give us credit for. If I had a daughter I would show this video to her because it will show that she can be and do whatever she wants no matter what man may say to her that she cannot be a computer science engineer.

The film was very informative, it did help open my eyes to a problem that exists but it did not ever say that there was a need for women(or anyone) in the computer science industry at this time. The film never stated a solution to the problem either. It would have been nice to know a little more about the industry versus this one problem the industry is facing.

I loved this documentary and the facts that it gave. It gave some viable information on how the gender for coding will be affected. I agree that they should offer more computer technology before college. It gave several examples of different things that coders do. The video made me realize that there are way more things than I knew about that needed coding. I can totally see where they were coming from that men are more likely to due the computer type of work for coding.

Code: debugging the gender gap is an inside look into why women are underrepresented in the computer science workforce. It discusses the history of women in computer science and provides an in-depth examination on the rapid decline of women in that workforce over the last couple decades. Code also covers a number of ways society is trying to rejuvenate women's interest and place in computer science fields. This movie challenges stereotypes and introduces us to a number of influential women in the computer coding field. Code is a great documentary to inspire the younger generations of women to reconsider careers in computer science.
