Ellion Ness, a thoroughly professional stripper, goes through her paces, bares her body, and then, astonishingly and literally, transcends it. While the film makes a forceful political statement on the image of woman and the true meaning of stripping, the intergalactic transcendence of its ending locates it firmly within the mainstream of joyous humanism and stubborn optimism.

I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

I loved IMBA MEANS SING. I flew to New York to see it on Broadway and it was excellent. The children are so real, and you are able to see what life is like on an African Children's Choir tour. Erin and her team did so well producing this film. The three children that are featured in the film are amazing especially when you see where home is in Uganda and the life they experience for 18 months in North American and United Kingdom. I am so impressed with the volunteers and staff of ACC, for their sacrifices and impact in the children's lives. This film will convince you that education is the key for these children and families.

I have seen this documentary several times and it never fails to leave my heart jumping and my spirit filled with hope. These amazing children, born into extreme poverty, look at the world through different eyes, eyes of love, faith, hope and so much more. They tell their own story with unconditional trust in their sponsors and show us a determined spirit to make their lives, the lives of their families and the lives of their fellow countrymen better. Even though they come from almost nothing, you would never guess by looking at their faces, which are almost always covered with a big smile. You will be glad you took the time to watch this documentary, and I am sure, will watch it over and over again.
