Trailer Synopsis Cast

When his aspirations of becoming a champion monkey trainer came crashing down after a freak one wheel bicycle accident, this good humoured young man turned his dab hand to the entertainment industry and he has never looked back. Now an award winning, world class stand up comedian, Trevor Noah¿s explosion onto the entertainment scene has been all encompassing, taking on television, radio and obviously his first love, stand up comedy, which he has performed on both local, as well as international stages. Being the astute performer that he is, our man has also very quickly became a favourite in the corporate world as a top class MC. With hobbies that include helping old people 'I have a passion for the aged' he was once quoted as saying, and dabbling in the odd bit of table tennis and darts, this is a man who is right at the cutting edge of modern entertainment.

This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

This is the third show I watched from Trevor Noah. After The Daywalker and That's Racist this show Crazy Normal is again taking place in South-Africa. And like the two other shows I had sometimes a bit difficulties to understand every single joke because Trevor Noah plays with alot of different accents, and that's nice to watch, but also different languages, and that's sometimes just impossible to understand for a guy from outside South-Africa. But the show still remains of a good quality for a stand-up comedy. I just saw this was his farewell show from South-Africa so I'm looking forward to watch his next shows in countries where I understand all languages. Trevor Noah is a waterfall of words, with different intonations, very verbal and gestual, and with of course good jokes to laugh with. So even for a non South-African this show is worth watching.

Watched this last night, had to rewind and watch some parts twice just to enjoy the laugh again. Trevor is amazingly in control at all times. His insightful perspectives of this rainbow nation that is South Africa are truly brilliant. We all like to jest and put on accents to describe ourselves culturally, but he really does draw from a keen eye (and ear :) in a unique, fresh way.He makes things personal. For instance, who would have thought that one of the key differences between women of different races (he's dated) would be how they handle themselves in the shower! His ability to draw you into minute detail around everyday experiences like airport check-in, signing 'the book of truth' before entering an office park, or how one 'drives' a computer are mesmerizing and truly entertaining.Highly recommend. Trevor doesn't talk fast... but take your time and listen slowly ;)
