Excellent but underrated film
This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
For a drama with comedy elements, then "4Play" sure failed to deliver on both accounts. Not even one-fourth into the movie and I was ready to give up already, because I hadn't laughed once, and because the movie lacked anything that even resembled being interesting. The characters were shallow and one-dimensional, although people in the various roles tried their best, but they just had nothing to work with.I definitely wasn't in the target audience for this particular genre of movies. And I ended up giving up not even halfway through the ordeal. Why would you want to sit down and watch this abysmal drama? Well, perhaps if you are a hardcore fan of anyone on the cast list. Other than that, then I see nothing appealing about this movie. And having given up on the movie not even halfway through, I can honestly say that I am not even going to give this a second chance.
