Best movie of this year hands down!
That was an excellent one.
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
This is a great movie for the tween ages. I remember growing up with dream street and hearing their songs. I love Chris he is an amazing actor. Kaila has done a great job playing a fan she really embodies them. the story line is fun I mean I as a fan have dreamt of something similar. The way this film is shot it is great. the family dynamic was interesting. I do feel it was a little flat in some areas but that's what you get with a film like this. I feel it is a great movie for how it was done so yes I give it a 10/10. If you haven't then please give this movie a watch. please remember this is my opinion you don't have to share the same views.
At first, I thought dream street was just another one of those no talented boy bands, like N*sync and Backstreet boys, but, was I wrong! The biggest fan is the best movie I have ever seen! It is full of wonderful actors and singers! Not to mention dancers, although, the girl who plays Debbie is so horrible! Her nose practically takes up the whole screen, and that zit..! (whoa baby!) OK, I thought that monster was going to pop at any minute! Not to mention her voice is so annoying! My eyes started burning every time she came on screen! She almost ruined the best movie ever! But luckily, i lived through it, and am now here to tell you what an awesome movie it is! BUY MANY COPIES AND GIVE THEM TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS!
Like "Hard Days' Night" and the Elvis Presley movies, at the screenings at the AMC Westwood in Los Angeles, CA and the Beacon Theater in Manhattan, NY, hundreds of young, female fans screamed end-to-end. They love the kids, they loved the band, and they loved the music. The teen magazines gave it "top 5" status in every category, and they called Kaila and Chris the #7 "cutest couple of all time." The film should be in theaters this summer.
I saw this film, "The Biggest Fan" twice, once in Cannes and once in L.A. Both were "Sneak Peaks" before the film is to be released to the public, so some changes will still be made. It is already a very good family film, with its main audience being young teen and preteen girls, especially those into "boy bands." The first audience I watched it with was all adults and the second in L.A. was predominantly teens. The second screening had strong audible reactions from the mostly young female audience. The actress playing the female lead was excellent and the male lead, a member of the boy band "Dream Street" also gave a great performance. In the supporting cast there were a lot of familiar faces from many feature films and TV series. I am very interested to see how this film is received once it hits the theaters.
