All other methods of identification were removed from her body. Five years later Claudia, now addicted to tranquilizers, receives a phone call from someone claiming to be her daughter, asking for her mother to come find her before 'they' kill her. Other mysterious clues show up, further indicating that Claudia's daughter is indeed still alive, and very much in danger. The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

Emily (Kaarin Fairfax) is a friendly middle aged nurse at the town hospital. While she is slightly past her prime, she is still desirable as she wears a silver ball around her neck. After seeing a glimpse of her, we see she is the "victim" of a home envision by Jack (John Jarratt) who works at the pharmacy. Jack runs into a taser and finds himself tied up as the battle of the sexes mind games ensue. The film is a dark comedy, light on humor. The dialogue gets bogged down in a trade of insults between men and women that are beneath the characters. The film also wanders off into imagination where there are delusions of violence to hold our interest. It doesn't have the intensity of "Extremities" or "Misery." Guide: F-word. Sex talk. No nudity.

An original film with great back and forth between the two main actors, great script great directing, it's funny in a black humor way the film could've been produced as play as it's centered on the two main characters in one house over a night, it has great script writing and directing and top notch performances from two of Australia's finest actors.A film that's backed by a fine soundtrack that really keeps the movie flowing and has great black humor great memorable lines and a black humor battle with a great ending. fans of black humor comedies should give it a burl as well as fans of the legendary John Jarratt and Kaarin Fairfax. well worth checking out for anyone who isn't a close minded pelican.

Theme of the movie is Trapped, Tortured & Terrorised.Jack is pushed past the brink of his stalking obsession when he decides to break into Emily's home to take what he wants by force. However, his plans for her pain and his pleasure come unhinged when he wakes up to find himself bleeding and bound to a chair in her kitchen. For one night Jack and Emily engage in a twisted and thrilling courtship of the sexes that leads one to wonder which one of them will survive the night. Shocking dark comedy in the Hitchcock mold And Often Quite Chilling!A great tense tale that is well told with very strong performances from the lead two. The acting in this is brilliant and makes this film stand out. I would Highly recommend this movie for MISERY FANS

Christ this movie is so pointless and insignificant. The characters have no imaginable purpose other than to play out some fake psycho-therapy session for voyeurs to watch. The woman does her best to portray victim/inquisitor. The man, dead-pan and incredibly dull as the antagonist, makes a horrible villain to build a movie around. There isn't any character development. We begin with a mature, friendly, sexy nurse doing her job. We dive into a scene where this woman becomes a vengeful vamp with the villain who, to me, is physically repulsive, and in the end, nothing, absolutely nothing, has been learned, shared, resolved, explored, nor do we have any new insight into who these characters are and why they are here. What is the point? What is the motivation? Oh that's right! Thanks to porn, maybe videoing a milf can make you some money. Who needs a concept?
