When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

What a fun movie to watch. Similar in tone to Zombieland, although different story and characters, still similar in tone. Three slackers (a geek, a cool guy, and a rock&roller) are living as couch potatoes during the apocalypse. No explanation of how they survived, but zombies movies don't need explanations for everything. They're hanging out in house to house, watching dvds, playing video games, raiding the grocery store and music store, etc., killing zombies as they run into them. Then it's time to meet a hot chick scientist working on a cure*, so the guys can try to impress her.The characters and dialog are quirky, which really makes a good zombie for me. The effects were low budget, but still good, with some good fight scenes and gore. They used POV from the zombie being killed a few times, which makes it possible to not have to use any special effects, you just see the baseball bat, golf club and such coming down at you. Nice effect of leaving some of the gruesomeness to your imagination. As with ALL zombie movies, there are borrowed ideas from other movies. In a zombie movie, it's not about what you do, but HOW you do it. And they did well.SPOILER-I do have one complaint, however.....zombies that move slow for the entire movie, suddenly move fast at the end of the movie....uh, why? somethings should be explained, and that isn't. They needed the zombies to move fast in order for a scene to be thrilling, OK, i get that. But some kind of explanation would be good.*(many zombie movies work on finding a cure, after all, it's impossible for everyone to not eventually get bit, so a cure would be good to prevent the disease from taking over everyone-of course you can't help those already infected unless they're still in good condition maybe)

Sure it was a cheap film, but it was a cheap ZOMBIE film, so its fine. :)The main characters were interesting enough to keep you entertained. It was definitely setup that these guys are the same guys you probably went to high school with, not some former navy seals or special ops, just your average zombiepocolypse survivors making the best of it. It did start kinda slow, but built up, and by the middle of the film I had a moderate interest to see how it all ended up. The effects were a little cheesy, but I've seen much worse from other zombie flicks with much larger budgets. All in all, if you're willing to stick it out through a slow beginning, the film is a fun way to kill 88 min.

his movie is not as crazy as most zombie films that you see. It is a low budget film so they cannot use tons of CG or amazing make up. This was just some people who had a great idea and made a movie. Because it lacked a lot of the excitement from a normal zombie film, it was hard for me to get into it. But I respect them for making it. The view is more real life like. These three guys are just sitting around playing video games and eating. I mean most people would just do the same. What could you really do if the world was covered in zombies. The dialog is decent and actually entertaining at times which is good. The cast was fine, I couldn't really get into their characters, but they were not horrible. They manage to use a little bit of special effects to the points that count. The ending was not that good. I wanted more from it, and I did not get it. I will admit the film had a charm to it that I seemed to enjoy a little bit.

I bought it, because I was fooled by the "destined to become a cult classic" sticker on the front.. It's nowhere near being a cult classic, I'd be surprised if it's remembered in a few years..The characters were funny enough, most of the time, but sometimes also too much.. Like lead actor Morgan got annoying in the end with his cocky attitude, could've been done better..Zombies farting all the time isn't my thing either.. Zombies suddenly learning to run in the middle of the movie isn't my thing either.. An ending you've seen many times before isn't my thing either..Also a very big concern I have.. WHY do some zombie heroes and heroins try to find a cure, that can turn the zombies back to normal?? Who'd want to be a rotten human? Zombies are DEAD and CAN'T be turned back.. You can maybe make a vaccine, so you can become immune, but a cure to turn you back would never be possible in any zombie universe.."You've been turned back to normal! Now go live your life again!" "But.. My guts are all over the floor.." *drops dead again*Rent it, if you MUST see it!
