Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

After a mining accident has wiped out all of the male inhabitants of a tiny planet the women in the small town of Bushpucker Gulch (population 37) have adjusted their lives accordingly. The mayor of the town, "Delia Westwood" (Elizabeth Kaitan) and the sheriff "Sarah Parker" (Lesli Kay) manage to maintain law-and-order while the saloon keeper named "Lily" (Betsy Lynn George) provides a place where they can all let off some steam. Then one day an interstellar spacecraft crash lands near the town and suddenly everything changes dramatically as the sole occupant just happens to be a man. Now rather than reveal any more details about this movie and risk spoiling it for those who haven't seen it I will just say that it had all of the ingredients to being a really good film. The ladies were all quite attractive, the story had a good foundation and the comedy wasn't too bad either. Unfortunately, the director (David DeCoteau) was completely incompetent when it came to utilizing the assets that were available to him. For example, there were a number of sexual interludes involving at least one of the three lovely women mentioned earlier which should have been exciting--or at the very least somewhat interesting--but turned out to be extremely boring. The music was monotonous and the scenes completely lacked passion and sensuality. As a matter of fact, it would have been better to have cut away from some of these scenes and simply leave something for the imagination rather than to have continued on and on with them. But that is just my opinion. In any case, this movie could have been so much better but as it is I have to give it the rating it deserves which essentially amounts to one point for each of the three aforementioned ladies.

Where to start? OK the whole plot is a sort of three-part anachronism: an Old West town, with some contemporary technology, but also set in a future time of space travel, but the main character keeps making references to 1970's thru 1990's TV shows and movies. I'm presuming this is an attempt at camp. It fails. This sets the tone for the bad plot, the poor dialogue, and the cheap sets. OK, I knew going in that this was basically a T & A flick, but there really wasn't much T, and even less A. The version I saw said it was "unrated" but if it were, it would have gotten a soft "R". By my count, there were 3 breasts, and no butts. (OK, one butt, but that was the guy's) So, in my view, this film fails on that aspect, also. I do have to say that the actresses were quite attractive, and I'd like to more of them. Kudos to Betsy Lynn George, and double kudos to Elizabeth Kaitan. I won't try to criticize their acting, since I doubt that even Meryl Streep could do much with that material. Overall this is a film well worth missing. Surely the Romanians, who had a recent revolution, can find better stuff to make movies about. And it's interesting that the director uses a pseudonym of a woman. Grade: F+

The premise of this dog is inviting - space jockey crash-lands on a planet full of western-motif women, their men and their communication equipment all having been crushed in a freak mining accident. He can't leave or get help because his intergalactic telephone is broken and needs - get this - a Spacely Sprocket! Okay - you know it's going to be a T&A movie, but it doesn't even live up to that! The "erotic" scenes are shot so poorly and are so monotonous I actually changed channels in the middle of one. Plus - the hero - on a planet filled with beautiful women - only gets it on with 3 inhabitants - the sheriff, the mayor, and the saloon keeper (she never even gets naked!). All those beautiful extras wasted! Don't waste the TV's radiation watching this one.

On a dusty frontier planet occupied only by women, a male space traveller crashlands, causing the population to go nuts with the lady sheriff and her "lover" (see below for clarification), the town mayor, fighting over him.In this film, the characters just dance around a lot in skimpy attire while someone plays the electric guitar in the background. For example, the inevitable lesbian scene (which had the potential to be great) ends up with the two main female characters (one of whom is Leslie Kay Sterling, who now stars on "As the World Turns" and would probably like to forget she ever did this) just rubbing up against each other, never even taking off their lingerie.Just skip it.
