Fresh and Exciting
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
This animation by Johannes Weiland and Dirk Stoppe has one of the most interesting and unique story lines that I have come across in quite some time. The animation is in the modern, computer-generated style, and while the actual animation may be a little below average by today's standards, the unique premise more than makes up for it.While, I do think the basic idea could have been used to better effect, there are a few laughs and the short does make you look at things in a new light. Despite the rather uncreative character design and dialogue, I would recommend this film for fans of modern short animation, for those who like ideas a little outside of the box, and for those looking for an interesting way to waste a few minutes.
