Great Film overall
An unexpected masterpiece
It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
A bad tempered vampire is brought to the attention of a group of friends who accidentally summon him through a Ouija board. Arteries are starting to empty as the vampire sets out to feed. The only hope they have is a doctor by the name of Dr. Liebenstein (a modern day Van Helsing) who has a secret war going on with vampires.First of all I don't know why we needed another vampire film but here it is and its bad. This is a very low budget horror where the director (Erik Karl)is also the star and producer. This explains why the doctor only appears to be in his mid twenties but has amassed an incredible fortune already. This is evident when you see his house. The special effects are cheesy CGI and the music tries to sound like Green Day but is mostly annoying. Nothing new here so stay clear.
The Plot. When a menacing vampire is summoned from the darkness and begins terrorizing couples in Chicago, a doctor with a haunted past is determined to confront and destroy him.Great. Only the movie is all over the place.Very cheaply made. ALSO here's a first -- a FULL 17 minutes into the movie they decide to run the credits! All of them!Including positions like the Gaffer!!!Huh?I'm giving this movie one star for two reasons -- the best implants I've ever seen on a woman. She appears about 4 minutes into the movie in a 2015 Victoria Secret bra even though it's supposed to be the 1990's.And then she inexplicably puts on a white shirt but takes off her pants! No matter. She has the best body on the planet earth. And a hot face.
