Following a woman whose companions are mauled by a mysterious "dog" at a warehouse, "Metalhead" is a chase story set against the empty post-apocalyptic landscape of the Scottish moors.

That was an excellent one.
good back-story, and good acting
Don't listen to the negative reviews
Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
The dogs were interesting, too bad the writers were getting more and more lazy as the season progressed. If they weren't going to give the viewers any backstory, the why's, the who's, the how's, and all that, at least show us more of the dogs' intelligence, a deeper look into the AI algorithm programmed into the dogs (I thought this show is about THAT - technology!). I loved how the protagonist counted from 99 to 1 and threw candy at the dog in order to trick the dog's AI algorithm. It would be great if the episode focused a little bit more on stuff like this. You see, for every great software program out there, there will be bugs, logic errors, weaknesses. Imagine an episode about human intelligence vs artificial intelligence coded by humans. Some people could pretend like this episode is about "humans emotions" or "imaginations" or "cinematography artsy". The truth is the writers didn't actually give the viewers much to chew on, they just put together a generic post apocalypse plot with robot dogs in place of zombies. And they made the episode into black and white so that some art people could feel special and think they "get it".
Not sure why this episode received such negative ratings. It's my favorite episode of the Black Mirror series. I't been a while since I've seen it, so i need to go back and watch it again to provide a more detailed review.
I see quite a difference of opinion in the reviews so far for this episode. I'm in the camp that it is an extremely good episode indeed. Very little exposition is required because it is obvious, roughly, what has happened to create this dystopian world. It is something that is talked about and discussed by academics and Sci Fi enthusiasts today, something we all fear.In this episode the cold calculation of the enemy is terrific and the humanity of the main character is superbly portrayed by Maxine Peakes. Some are saying that the mission the group embarked upon was silly but this film is about the end-days. Everyone knows they are finished and they want to strike out with some form of humanity before its over.
It´s a wanabe snobby episode, not much happens, and the main idea is quite boring, Save your time!
