I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

One of the best Tamil thrillers ever, it brings together all the titans of the time - Kamal, Bhagyaraj, Bharathiraja and Ilayaraja. A memorable and satisfying experience. Kamal in a double role steals the show. Became a big hit in Hindi as well (called Aakhree Raasta), starring Amitabh Bachchan. Don't miss it.
