A group of excavators go out to find the legend known by villagers in Mt. Fuji known as rodan, a pteranodon, once they get there, inconveniences get in their way when godzilla rises from the depths to wreck havoc again, will godzilla, the army, and our heroes stop this new monster named Jiger????? It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
