Princess Elisabeth, Betty, literally has everything everyone dreams of: beautiful dresses, valuable jewelry and she lives in a fairytale castle. But Betty is actually unhappy, because her busy princess schedule doesn't allow any free time, and certainly not to learn how to ride a horse. One night, Betty is so fed up with everything that she decides to take a look at the royal stable. A lot more amusing than I thought it would be.
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
