This information is recorded and processed, with the term "Psycho-Pass" referring to a standard used to measure an individual's potential for criminal behavior. The story centers around the "enforcement officer" Shinya Kogami and "police inspector" Akane Tsunemori, who are tasked with managing crime in such a world.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
