The richness of the repertoire of horror is further strengthened by the ability to give the 3! 2! 1! warning, so as long as there is a curse there, whether it is a person, a spirit, or an object, it will be shown without fear of accusation. By providing the horror of what you see and feel as it is, without changing the style to force the viewer to be afraid of the details and logic, the work becomes simply scary without making any sense. This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
