Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
A Masterpiece!
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
The plot of the movie is copied from the Telugu movie "Varsham" starring Prabhas and Trisha. Tiger acted really well and made complete justice to his role and Shradha Kapoor did her best to portray a village girl. Action sequences were not too bad, but the dancing was best part of the entertainment in the entire movie.
Director Sabbir Khan's strategy seems to be, when in doubt, showcase the abs. Tiger is the Platonic idea of a Bollywood action hero. So as often as he can, he puts Tiger's chiselled, granite body on display. There has been a lot of conversation about Baaghi being a copy of the blockbuster Indonesian action film The Raid: Redemption. Yes, the idea of the villain holed up in the top floor of a building echoes that film. But Baaghi's romantic track comes from a Telugu film starring Prabhas, called Varsham. As in Varsham, here too the heroine Siya (Shraddha Kapoor) is obsessed with the rain. She and the boy Ronny (Tiger) meet on a train. There's a good-for-nothing, conniving, greedy father who keeps them apart. And a powerful villain, Raghav, played by Sudheer Babu, who also falls in love with Siya and will go to any lengths to get her, including kidnapping.
I do not want to write another word, methinks the title of this review is sufficient to suggest the long and short of it. However, I must write something sizeable for IMDb to publish it . So here it goes.Tiger Shroff flaunts his impressive martial arts skills in this unimaginative and highly unoriginal action movie. There is no depth to any character and everything conveniently revolves around either action sequences or cheesy romantic angles. The viewer doesn't have a clue why the story progresses the way it does . If the script is weak and worn out so is the screenplay. However, there is a silver lining in this all-the action sequences. The movie is this respect is a homage to Chinese martial arts cinema.Given he fact that I do not expect mainstream Bollywood to dish out original strong stories, I abstain from commenting further and would advice you to watch the movies mentioned in the Title of this review to gain further insights on the issue.
Watched this movie today, Not so good! I rate this movie, 2.5/5 Negative- >Story is same as any other Love Story, very predictable. >Direction, Average. >Acting, well you do not hear a lot of good dialogues, its pure action based movie, uniqueness is that you will also see the actress showcasing her fighting skills, Acting is Average. >Even those, people like me, who wants to see this movie for its Fighting Scenes, will be disappointed. It looks Tiger Shrof is just kicking all the time, comparatively not the Level Matching Fighting Scenes, Fighting scenes will get in our mind to the extend where even Shroff's dancing steps will confuse you with his fighting moves >Supporting roles are more or less like just guest appearance, well you need to be a fighter to be a part of this movie thou and i believe this the reason they looked more like guest then supporting actors.Positive- >Well not much here, but yes, Shraddhah is cute as usual. >Where Tiger is busy Smiling and Laughing in the first half and fighting in the rest, Shraddhah did manage to impress with her acting and fighting skills. >Songs are good and will definitely give you some enjoyable moments
