Sadly Over-hyped

Best movie ever!

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

Any positive review in regards to this movie, is either part of the cast, or was paid to make a false review, its that simple.Costumes were made by a 8 year old with one eye.The mirror effects to make it look like their were more hired actors was off the charts bad, like you cannot believe your own eyes.Goliath was this tub of lard with a poor dental plan, as well as attitude.You know what, I could keep going on.. I'm done wasting another second........

David and Goliath accurately tells the biblical story of David and Goliath. However, the director's attempts to add humor and modern dialogue at times takes away from the epic nature of the story. Certain elements of the biblical story are added to in the movie. For example, the tension between David and his brothers. This allows for a more human understanding of David and allows viewers to understand just how heroic his actions were.

I don't know what was worse: the script, the acting, or the editing. The producers' intention was probably good, though. I'm glad many folks enjoyed this film but, with a better education in film appreciation, one can praise the Lord better.Omg, I wanted to be brief but my review has to be at least 5 lines long or it won't be posted, so I'll add that I don't mean to antagonize anyone but no keep silent would be a sin of omission.

this is the most pathetic attempt at making a movie i have ever seen. the acting is atrocious, the dialogue is ridiculous, even the costumes and wardrobe looks as if it was put together in a junk yard. a child in year 2 at school could act and write better dialogue. i have seen some crappy attempt at film making before but this is probably the worst ever. the Goliath character is not believable at all the only reason he was used was because he was tall. i like the occasional bible epic but this movie and i use the term loosely would actually make me reconsider my faith and become a non believer. whomever wrote this piece of trash should go to church and ask God for forgiveness for wrecking such a great story
