Not very interesting Indian Cinema this 2017 and this movie make it to the top ten of worst. Kangana Ranaut, though what people say about her found it rude but now i think they are right, including Karan Johar. She was acting so so horribly that is beyond imagination. One or two films did well on block office and here is she is with top actors and big budget movie, but it is one bad made movie. Plot etc are good, Saif Ali Khan charming as ever but Shahid Kapoor too Rambo for World War era. He should have tuned his body a bit low for the role. Not worth to watch, too boring, senseless and without a rhyme.

In 1943, as the Second World War rages on, India is fighting a combat of her own: independence from British rule. Subash Chandra Bose, founder of the Indian National Army, has become disenchanted with Mahatma Gandhi's Ahimsa (non-violent) movement and desires to fight fire with fire. Recognizing the growing dominance of Imperial Japanese Army in the Indo- China region, the INA allies itself with the Japanese, hoping to ride the wave to Delhi. Indian troops in the British Indian Army are locked in pitched battles with both the INA and its Japanese contingent. In one such skirmish close to the Indo-Burma border, Jemadar Nawab Malik (Shahid Kapoor) and a group of fellow soldiers are cornered by the Japanese infantry. Running to escape on a barge, he is shot and captured as a prisoner of war. Meanwhile, the INA's top brass desperately seeks finances to replenish its heavy ammunition to aid the charge to Delhi.

You can find some interesting scenes in movie Rangoon. Shahid and Kangana Ranaut played their role very clearly. One of the good factor is about the movie is the star cast of the movie. Movie has really a big start cast. Nawab sahib - Saif Ali Khan has a big fan following so no doubt movie will income good. And this movie could make interest in its story you cant leave theater without completion of this.

Set in the Second World War era, the movie is a complete disaster from the start. Its yet another love triangle cliché with not even one descent song or dialogue. Had much better hopes from Vishal Bhardwaj. The ending is as bad (if not worse) and vague as the rest of the movie. The only descent part of the movie was Shahid Kapoor's acting which definitely wasn't enough to keep the audience from leaving the theaters half way through the movie.
