Miles Montego has it all - cars, boats, good looks, mansion, money, women, but more importantly, he has a past.

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
The only bright spot in this movie is JaRule. He does a pretty good job of acting, but the rest of the cast is pathetic.
18 April 2014As soon as I heard the title and saw the poster, I knew that I would like this movie. This movie was great from start to finish. I saw it in the theater last year. Now I have the DVD. I liked it so much that I saw it twice in the theater. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this movie an 11.I love this movie for several reasons.1. It is positive about showing a former bad guy how to turn his life around and come to God. God uses a pretty Hispanic/Latina to as a vessel to bring him to God. The Holy Spirit of God and Christ works in people to reach others the same way as Satan uses people.2. It has NO profanity. Any age can see it. 3. It has NO nudity, NO rape or violence on women. That alone is great. 4. I love and support All positive Interracial Love stories between men and women. 5. Another reason I liked it was the fact that the lovers are Interracial and I and my youngest married son can personally relate to love between the lead African Black American and the pretty Latina because we live it. However, we just never were involved in any criminal activity like the main guy in the movie.Hollywood and this country needs more positive movies like this one and movies that any age can see such as "God's NOT dead", "Courageous" and "Heaven Is Real".
I was able to go experience the tour for the movie in Mississippi. All of the clips had me "coo coo for cocoa puffs' so I knew that I would be going to the theater soon. I was glad to not have been disappointed. The movie was shot really well (great cameras) and many of the actors and actresses were phenomenal. Being able to attend the tour, it was cool to know the background story of what actually happened and the connection that T-Bone had with Galley (Montego) in real life years ago. God is real, God is powerful, and God can and will redeem. The very name of Jesus sends chills through my body because of what He has done and what He is doing this very day. This movie should be able to reach anyone. It wasn't made necessarily for Christians to be entertained, but for the "yet to believe" folks to come to hear about a mighty God of grace, love, and His relentless pursuit to have an intimate relationship with His children. I received from this movie that people can't change people no matter how pure our intentions nor can we give up on others despite how things may look. God didn't give up on us in which He used someone else to share Him with us. He does the work. We are only His vessels.
so glad I went to see this movie before reading reviews. I felt every emotion. angry, joy, sadness, to name few. While so call professional rated this movie low....I plan to see it again and again. I went the 1st time with my friend, next time plan to go with the church group and also with my husband on date night. I'm in Love With a Church girl.Starring: Adrian Bustamante, Michael Madsen, Stephen Baldwin, Martin Kove, Adrienne Bailon, Vincent Pastore, Ja Rule, Toby McKeehan, Michael Rivera, David Jean Thomas is must see. If you want more movies that older teens and family visit and enjoy. For the hater Well let me say this the world will never understand the ways of God, nor his people. Therefore I understand the bad reviews. However, I give the movie 10 in my book. I plan to get the DVD WHEN IT COMES OUT!
