It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

This is a fan film of a beloved classic franchise created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. I won't be negative about the plot, or acting as I know that working within a VERY limited budget you do the best you can. It's a solid short with good cinematography, music, and acting. The high point of this short would be the lighting, and camera work. Myers is shown in shadow most of the time, and the kills are within the tradition of the original film, minimal but with a shred of brutality. The camera is smooth with seemingly no hand-held, and takes advantage of the space in the frame to make Myers look creepy. The music pays heavy homage to Carpenter in terms of musical stings that elevate a sense of tension. PLUS! They got REALLY HOT CHICKS IN THE CAST! If anything my attention is already there because these girls are so cute. In particular the actress who gets killed first is adorable. On the downside, the pacing gets slowed down by shots that I know they worked hard to put together but ultimately make the film feel slightly slow. And the final act movies a little too slow and it's a fake out third act as well. But ultimately the passion was there and the effort was genuine and the girls WERE REALLY HOT!

This is a low-budget "sequel" to the entire Halloween franchise (minus the Zombie reboots). It's also under an hour long...The actors are all amateurs, which means the acting is pretty low- budget. The blood and the effects are minimal, and the plot line is rather basic. The location looks like it was filmed on a college campus or something. They pull off Michael Myers decently-enough, though it's little more than just an actor in a costume with similar acting abilities as the other characters. The only really good attribute of this film is that it claims to bridge the two divergent story lines (those being Halloween 4, 5, 6 and the storyline that is presented in H20 and Resurrection). While this is somewhat true, this is only done in a 5-minute monologue by an actor who does a rather good job at channeling Donald Pleasence where he explains how both story lines can co-exist. I wouldn't add this to your collection of Halloween films. Still not a bad effort for such a low-budget project.
