I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

I'm a massive fan of kaiju movies so I come to these films predisposed to like them. I've seen most of the original GODZILLA series and am attempting to fill in a few blanks; one of those is GODZILLA VS. GIGAN, a late-entry instalment that pits Godzilla and his old foe Anguirus against new space-monster Gigan and an old enemy, King Ghidorah.GODZILLA VS. GIGAN is plenty of fun from beginning to end, and the formula for that success lies in having a human interest story that's just as entertaining as the monster stuff. This time around, a group of environmentalists and employees investigate the mysterious owners of a new Godzilla theme park, soon uncovering some dark secrets which inevitably throw Japan into peril.Godzilla is on good form in what is one of the grisliest of the series (who knew you'd end up seeing a Japanese blood spray in a children's film?). Anguirus is my favourite kaiju monster, purely because he isn't capable of much and it's kind of sweet to watch him getting beaten on so much, so seeing him here was a delight. Gigan proves a deadly foe - especially with that saw! - and King Ghidorah is, well, King Ghidorah. You can't go wrong with that combo, and inevitably GODZILLA VS. GIGAN turns out to be a colourful, action-packed romp.

This is a very good movie. The beast Godzilla movie is the remake from 1998. You don't have to agree. But if your mad about it I'm from Canada that's a free county so get over it you big pooh pooh heads. This is the 12th Godzilla movie. It is also the 6th M.o.t.r.a movie. It is not as good as the 12th M.o.t.h.r.a movie at would also be part 25 to the Japan Godzilla series it is called Godzilla M.o.t.h.r.a and King G.h.i.d.o.r.a.h giant monsters on an all out attack. It is all so not as good as Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S. That would part 27 to the Japan Godzilla series. It would also be the 13th M.o.t.h.r.a movie. That one is also better. Godzilla Final war would part 28 to the Japan Godzilla series. It would also be the 14th M.o.t.h.r.a movie. That one would also be better. All the M.o.t.h.r.a movie are good. And most of the Godzilla movie are good. See this movie it's great. It's very cool. Godzilla and M.o.t.h.r.a movie are OK for kids but there good for adults to. Hockey is for kids and adults that like it are big kids. I would know when Ottawa plays my dad turns into a little kid. This movie is great see it.

Godzilla and a giant alien chicken. Great stuff. It's back to the very basic for Godzilla after many were disappointed by the previous effort (I loved it). It kind of throws away everything Godzilla started as. Now we have a fairly kid friendly film, in which aliens design an amusement park in the hopes of controlling some of the monsters from monster island. Because giant monsters are the greatest way to attract families away from their mundane lives. A manga artist uncovers this bizarre plot and soon the aliens release their own monster, Gigan. Fun fights and frolics abound, even if these movies are getting rather crowded.

Man, i don't know if it's because i grew up on godzilla; or something like that because i enjoy just about every godzilla movie made. Honestly, I've seen most of them. And every one is watchable and enjoyable, look at the time this movie was made. Obviously its gonna be corny.I'm watching it right now, and i am enjoying it :P I really don't get Why all the godzilla movies are giving such a low rating, besides a select few. I also just watched Godzilla Mothra and king ghidrah, made in 2001 and wow it was pretty sick. The ending fight with king ghidorah is ridiculous. Anyway i rate this movie an 8 out of 10, maybe a 7.5 i see it as an enjoyable old sci fi flick, thats worth watching if you have a good imagination~
