A story about Ivanushka the Fool based on classic Russian fairytales.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Excellent, Without a doubt!!
This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
It's a fairytale. An older soviet fairytale movie. It's not bad. But it's also not so good. The characters are pretty well developed and very individual, which is very important for a fairytale. It even has a nice atmosphere and is cinematically pretty well done. But I have a problem with this movie, and that is the plot. The plot is merely there, it's more like some situations put together with a very thin red line to follow and sometimes no red line following at all, which had quite the potential to bore me at some part at let me search subconsciously for some distraction. In the end, I can't really tell what happened. But I can say that it had amusing parts and I didn't turn this movie off so it wasn't that bad at all but not something I'd suggest anyone to watch.
