From amateur radio operator clubs to ghost hunters, from bird watchers to the drums that could send signals on battle fields, the challenge here is to successfully establish contact with a distant, absent being, by using much more mysterious means than those inhabiting our daily lives. Truly Dreadful Film
One of my all time favorites.
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
