Undescribable Perfection
Purely Joyful Movie!
Perfect cast and a good story
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Wow that was painful! The film style used to film this movie made this movie so cheesy! Almost looks like a 70's style film... What a disappointment for Cuba & Christian. What where they thinking? They must be so embarrassed! The girls were very pretty and their fight scene was one of the best girl fights that I've seen. Even the cars weren't that great for being made in 2009. The airplane part was the kicker for me. LAME! I wish this sight showed how much money each actor got paid for their part. It would explain a lot.... I hope Christian does something better in the future. I've always like him especially in the Mob movie he did in the 90's. Christian plays a good sexy bad guy. I've always wondered why he isn't in more films. Oh well, I've heard all actors have at least one movie their not proud of.
Yes, Mr. Slater, has finally done it. After a brief comeback in the series "My own Worst Enemy", the show was nice in the beginning, but seeing this, maybe it was a good thing they canceled it.The Acting is just horrible. If I need to make a description of the acting in this movie, then you can probably just go and see Kindergarden kids try to act out any action movie, and you will probably enjoy it more. The action scenes are below lame and who ever is the choreographer for the "fight" scenes, should really go and see some action movies or at least check out his own work. What was he trying to say? that everybody with a gun is a complete moron? Cut scenes in the middle of the fights just make you want to know where the hell is the continuity?I tried to watch it just because I like Christian Slater, but I broke after 30 minutes. It will appear that he managed to hit rock bottom and then started digging.I want my 30 minutes back!
if there was a "zero star tragic vote" that would definitely be my choice. tragic directing: the actors' reactions are so fake, e.g. in some cases they almost get killed and on the next scene they are already over it arguing about other stuff. Fight scenes are completely stupid, why jump on a bed to kill someone when you are already aiming him with a gun?? just shoot!tragic sound editing: annoyingly repeatable music theme in most scenes, and really wasn't that special workalmost tragic plot: all cliché included! bad guys, angry villain in a suite, metallic case with diamonds, car chase through a parade.. oh please! if the directing was better I could possibly forgive that. the director should be prohibited to roll another film!
Its hard to say where to begin...well, how about the beginning. It was obvious from the start of the movie that this was low budget and going to look like some kind of college assignment gone wrong. And it was! If I was Christian Slater or Cuba Gooding Jr. I would have distanced myself from this movie as soon as I read the script. They must have been forced to do the movie due to gambling debts or blackmail.Acting was terrible and forced, camera shots were sloppy and cheap, editing was crappy, and even the special effects looked like my 7 year old son had done them. I don't know what was harder to watch, the gun fights or Christian slaters chase scene in the car with both women towards the end. And Cuba was not much better as well.Overall, that is two hours of my life that I will never get back. Glad I only spent $1 to rent. Of course the fact that it went straight to video should have been a hint!
