Good concept, poorly executed.

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

Its not littered with comedy but the comedy spots are timed right and the little gestures are the funniest. This film is littered with people who have ended up in superhero shows/films

I loved it. It was seeing people react at the ten-year reunion exactly how they do in the wild. It felt real and not overly smooshy. It was touching and cringe but not in a brashy teen movie way in a people portrayed as human way. I went to my school reunion in 2009 and I was mistaken for one of the popular girls by someone which was upsetting as she was heavily pregnant at the time. If you smash this right into Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion that was my experience, but enough about me this movie had heart and alcohol - watch it.

10 Years is an ensemble film starring several actors in an attempt to recreate their 10 year high school reunion. The film is listed as a comedy and drama, though most of what we see are desperate attempts and they fall flat. The film doesn't offer much and for a film with many talented actors, the film is surprisingly dull, not too funny and very predictable. The actors are essentially playing themselves to an extent. The film has been noted to generate little buzz which is a major reason why it flopped at the box office. These certain type of films very rarely perform well at the box office. Though the film did receive generally good enough reviews. Overall, 10 years could have been much better, which is left as a disappointment, and of the more forgotten films of this decade.

One of my friends suggested me this movie and I've got to say, it made my school years rush back into memory as I was watching it. I personally think that movie is really underrated by users due to under popularity issues. If you are hoping to watch a movie with some of your old buddies (perhaps on a reunion), I'd totally recommend to you this movie. It'll be somewhat of a mellow one throughout but it will be enjoyable and it would certainly be able to bring back those high school memories. Even if it seems like too much information is stacked up into your brain so fast in the beginning, keep on watching till the end because all the pieces fit in nicely together to set up one of the most beautiful movies that you might stumble upon.P.S. The soundtracks are just placed beautifully!
