Absolutely the worst movie.
Absolutely Fantastic
Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
The movie starts off slow... and never picks up the pace. You get a whole lot of pointless info on various characters, with no followup or real explanations. You get an obvious cult of obviously evil people, you get "monster" that does nothing all movie, and you get a "plot" that really could have been resolved in 5 minutes.Simply put, there was no point to the movie. A whole lot of slow nothing, with meaningless bits of information that are never used, and a "climax" that really had little going on. The movie then ends on a scene that makes no sense at all, as it's after everything's finished and nothing can be done.Do yourself a massive favour and stay far away from this horrific piece of garbage.
When a young couple and their newly born child learn that their mother is missing they race back to their home town to assist in the search only to learn that the town holds a dark secret.Sadly the dark secret is never fully explained and the film is an anti-climatic empty 90 minutes of boredom. It's not that nothing happens, it's that nothing even remotely interesting happens. The movie ends on about 50 question marks and that simply isn't acceptable. The Good: Jean Smart The Bad: Everyone else Things I learnt from this movie: When a person sees a living shadow creature they won't be shocked at all and will even be courteous enough to refer to it as a him
Spoilers, if you haven't seen a horror film. The film opens in 1964 New Haven as a woman tries to escape with her baby from...? Then in the present, Adam (James Zimbardi) gets a call from his brother...mom is missing. Adam packs up the wife and infant and goes to help out. We meet a group called Gateway, that doesn't make computers. It is run by a creepy kid named Lawrence (Raam Weinfeld) and that is all we need to know. Plot solved. The acting was okay, nothing to write home about. Grace Van Dien, daughter of Casper Van Dien had a minor role. At least she could have stepped on a bug or something. Skyler Caleb credits the idea for the film he got from a dream, a dream he might of had after watching "The Believers," a film you should watch instead.Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
What a crap show. I can't believe this got a high rating. The movie was slow with bad acting and a story that made no sense. Even at the end of the movie it made no sense. It never explains anything. I was left with a blank face with no idea what I just watched. What a waste of time. Can I have my time back?
