You Be Mother
You Be Mother
You Be Mother uses stop-frame animation to disrupt the traditional orders of animate and inanimate, the fluid and the solid. An hallucinatory space is set up when a frozen image of the artist’s face is projected onto weighty pieces of crockery atop a table. Ears, eyes, nose and mouth, all become spatially dislocated as a determined hand begins to reposition, decant and mix. Events unfold to the amplified sounds of grinding, pouring and stirring.

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

Its not a bad movie!!!! Its definitely a kids movie and not for adults. I kept watching it for the Indian man. He is soooooo funny! His facial expressions and timing is perfect and so comical! I loved him. Lacey Chabert and Rick Malambri are good too. Rick is so hot and Mean Girls is one of my favorite movies So of course I love it! . It would be nice to see another one thats not at Christmas. The man from scrubs is very bad. So stupid hes just not funny. Is that other man from Jackass? Overall, i would watch it again. I hope it comes on next Christmas. If the makers of the film get to read this, please use rick and lacey again in another movie with the Indian man. My mom loved the Indian man. I think hes a geek and i love rick.

I joined this site after researching the horrible movie (A Holiday Heist) if it can be called a movie. It looks and feels like it was made by a bunch of low grade film students. It has horrible acting, unbelievable bad stunts. Stereotypes galore and just a bad, horrible waste of time. Avoid this like the plague. If you want a fun holiday movie I would suggest anything else other than this drivel. Movies don't have to be great films to be enjoyed. For example try watching Christmas Town instead. Even some of the Dean Cain Christmas movies (Defending Santa, Merry Ex-mas) movies are much better than this. Try looking at what movies someone has reviewed in order to determine if they either know what they are talking about or have similar tastes as you.

Just watch it! Give it a chance. It is so funny and amazing. If only I could find love like that! I love all the characters. But Lacey Chabert and Rick Malambri do an excellent job of the main characters. If only they would make a second one! I think that anyone who likes Christmas should watch it! Just look it up and find it and I promise you won't regret it! I watch it every year about 2 to 6 times at Christmas. Because that is the only time it is on! Even though I wish the cast could make a non-Christmas one i would totally watch that. It shows people like me how to to make the best of any situation! Totally a must see! :) <3 I absolutely adore this move! :)
