Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
The start of this movie it could have been something It started out with a decent story, good set up with a million places to go. Then it just keeps getting worse and worse. Each event driving one more nail in to the coffin. It got really weird really quick, the plot starting going all over the place, hard to follow. Is it a dream? is it real, very confusingI think its funny they could not afford jessica alba so they found a girl that kind of looks like her, a little. Im not going to say don't watch this movie. I have seen way way worse, like "I know who killed me" With linlo......that was stupid!
That was a terrible, terrible movie. Absolutely dreadful. Isn't even worth my time discussing it. Don't watch it, heed the signs and don't waste an hour and half of your precious time like I did. Why was Karen like that? She's a complete moron. Again, awful. No character description. The information on the movie was that she went through some long suppressed horrible memory. What was it? The movie never even hinted at what it was! It went from one idea to another, absolutely ridiculously stupid. Nothing was explained. Nothing! I am so annoyed at the writers for wasting time and money turning out such a piece of rubbish. Thanks for nothing! And what was that little 5 seconds of film just before the credits rolled? What the hell was that? What was it supposed to be? IT WAS NOTHING! JUST SOMETHING TO BULK OUT THE TIME! Didn't explain anything at all relevant to the movie. The writers are complete half-wits! To Whoever Directed "Fear Itself:Dark Memories" or "Ring Around The Rosie": I COULD DIRECT BETTER THAN YOU! I mean come one! It's common sense that when filming a movie, 30 seconds of film is a lot of time to be looking at the one frame, like, oh, I don't know, 30 seconds of Karen waking up and just sitting in her bed. I'm 14 years old and I know this! To sum it all up: Stupid movie, A waste of time, money and resources, and not worthy to be a movie from this time.
When the grandmother of the publicist Karin (Gina Phillips) dies, she inherits her property in the fields. She travels with her boyfriend Jeff (Randall Batinkoff) for the weekend, but she decides to stay along the week cleaning up the place and packing the stuffs. Karin has horrible nightmares and visions of ghosts of her past, while she stays in the house with the creepy housekeeper Pierce (Tom Sizemore) and her younger sister Wendy (Jenny Mollen)."Ring Around the Rosie" has a non-sense, absurd, confused and unintelligible screenplay. The motives and actions of Karin, who behaves like a moron in spite of being a successful publicist, are never well explained. It seems that she had a traumatic experience in the house many years ago, and when she returned, she recalled and lived it again, blending nightmares with reality, but the director Rubi Zack was never able to explain the story. It seems also that each one of the four writers wrote one part of the story, but they forgot to interact and put the ideas together. My vote is two.Title (Brazil): "O Mistério de Rosie" ("The Mystery of Rosie")
Honestly, they should decide what they want this movie to be, a psychological thriller or simply an action thriller... Because their combination of both just doesn't seem to work out...Good thing about it though is that the characters aren't stupid... unlike some other horror movies, these characters are relatively believable. Another thing is that it is quite unpredictable but really, nothing exciting about its ending.I do wonder however at the title and how it is related to the movie(I watched it as "fear itself: dark memories")...or the tagline for that matter.
