Trailer Synopsis Cast

In the suburbs of Rome, two disparate lives with only desire for vengeance and redemption in common find their destinies intertwined. Massimo's mind is plagued with images of his wife's violent death at the hands of a criminal gang involved in the production of snuff films. With every memory of the woman he loved replaced by unforgettable images of her horrific final moments, Massimo sees only one chance to take back his life: find the wealthy individual who commissioned the sickening murder - and make them pay. Barabba, a recently released convict, hopes to keep a promise he made to his father and start a new life with his brother, Spaccio, far from the violent world that they used to inhabit. Discovering that his brother is involved in the snuff gang, Barabba seeks to change things the only way he knows how: through violence and bloodshed.

This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.

I liked craziness of "Adam Chaplin" and since some internet people praise this as the directors ultimate masterpiece so I was mildly excited. All I expected this to be zero budget gore flick (what it is) but sadly they tried to do something more with this. You did read the plot so no spoilers here: Angry ex convict decides to take revenge on snuff video ring he used to work to. You can pretty much guess the rest. All fine and good by me so far but then the "arty" thing kicks in. Guess the creators of this movie noticed there is barely any script or dialogue for that matter and they had to stretch this thing as long as possible. If you enjoy 5 minute long scenes of somebody making coffee, pouring water, rolling a joint etc. mundane things in slow motion, you are up for a treat. Then they got all crazy with after effects/filters. Whole film is shuttered, "Current time" is black and white, violent flashbacks are some kind or black and red, some scenes are bit of mess of both and plenty of pointless shots of woman standing at the beach and footprints on the beach (ugh..) that looks like coloured 8mm film. (Those beach scenes got nothing to do with the "plot". Guess they are supposed to be someone's dream sequences of some character but you can't tell which ones.)Acting is acceptable. They make big number how they casted actual ex criminals as actors on this. Guess to make this "grim" and "authentic" They could have casted random people from the street since most of got zero or minimal amount of dialogue. Therefore there is not much to act if you don't have to talk or zero character building. Just stand around besides gore scenes and quite badly made fights. Now about the gore why we watch *beep* like this at first place: There is couple good scenes, some laugh out loud bad and plenty of boring, mediacore, uncreative ones. Thing that annoying that these guys can do decent effects for the money mixing practical and digital effects but the mess with after effects and colours ruins some of them and some are so badly done you can't help but think these after effects are there just to hide them.I hate to crap over indie flick but this was just frustrating: There is clearly some creative people behind this and potential to be actual movie. If only there was a proper plot, some character development, suspense perhaps a surprise, proper pacing... You know. Script. I can't remember last time yawning so hard trying to watch this without fast forward around 60 minutes (out of 70 something). This movie sure feels least two times longer than it is.

This is Giulio De Santi's latest horror. This is the same dude that directed Adam Chaplin and this one blows away all his other films. While filming a snuff tape a man is set up to take the fall when the police arrive. When he gets out of jail years later he tracks everyone down in the snuff ring one at a time. This one is major brutal and unforgiving as hell. When he is not caving in someone's head with a hammer he likes to shoot off limbs with a shotgun. Shot in black and white it somehow makes it more sick without showing all the colours like in Human Centipede 2. Infidus believe it or not is way more graphic. If it wasn't so sick it would win awards for sure. The visuals and slow motion shots near the end were amazing as well. You'll have to read this one as its in Italian but well worth it. Find this one and watch it.

After the splatter-fest Hotel Inferno, Necrostorm decided test a more serious and realistic approach. The result is a sad, violent and gritty movie, that will punch you in the stomach from the start to the bittersweet finale.Infidus is a dark crime and revenge drama about two people whose lives were permanently changed for the worse, looking to change their sad destiny. Necrostorm movies stories and acting are pretty simple, and are only the background of top quality action and gore. But this time, the acting and the story play a very important role, and both are made very well (probably because the actors are real criminals) Infidus have tons of gory scenes, but it's not entertaining, it's just disturbing... like in real life. Everything is this movie is gritty and uncomfortable, also sequences that are not visually disturbing, are in some way uncomfortable. The houses, the streets, and everything doesn't looks like the Rome you see as tourist: everything is dark and dirty, and the entire city looks like an huge junkyard. The soundtrack and the B\W photography, constantly give you the feeling there is no hope for the protagonists, and vengeance won't change their faith. And this is Good, because this movie is about crime and vengeance, and they are not cool like in Hollywood movies. Like in real life, Infidus vengeance is just an unstoppable train that runs with blood on a "dead end" In my opinion this is the best Necrostorm movie so far: top effects, top screenplay, top production value. I can't wait to see their next project, no matter if it'll be over-the-top or more serious... it will be another masterpiece.Cheers from Germany
