Trailer Synopsis

In addition to the romance between Cha Cha-woong, a magician and employer who handles and manages ghosts, and a passionate female police officer with occult powers, the characters will have to solve a case they coincidentally get swept up in by cooperating with ghosts to uncover clues.

Episode 16 : The Showdown

The evil spirit continues to consume people one by one with the sole purpose of getting what it wants, and Cha Woong’s sacrifice is inevitable in order to put it to sleep once and for all. Knowing how dangerous the situation is, Cha Woong deliberately disappears from Seul Hae’s life in the hopes of keeping her safe. With one last clash remaining, Cha Woong must make the choice of his life.
Episode 15 : The Farewell

Before he completely lets go of the current life full of unresolved feelings, Sang Gun shares his story of how he ended up as a ghost. After hearing his story, Cha Woong and all his employees decide to do Sang Gun a favour, which is to arrange a special meeting for Sang Gun with his daughter. Meanwhile, Seul Hae begins to feel uncomfortable around Hee Soo.
Episode 14 : The Final Showtime

Seul Hae and Cha Woong grow fond of each other, and the more they get to know each other, the earlier the time for Choi Geom to enter Nirvana will be. When that happens, Cha Woong will lose his ability to see ghosts. Before the inevitable takes place, everyone prepares for their last show together. Meanwhile, Hee Soo plans to seize this opportunity to do what he thinks is necessary.

It seems like an unknown source must have triggered something inside both Cha Woong and Seul Hae, enabling Seul Hae to see ghosts as well. Seul Hae waits anxiously for Cha Woong to wake up, but Cha Woong appears to be lost in his past existence in which he fell deeply in love with the Princess.

Choi Geom confronts his long forgotten enemy, but he’s not strong enough to take him down himself. Now that the threat is on the loose and imminent, Cha Woong and Seul Hae get ready for a clash. However, Cha Woong wants nothing but safety for Seul Hae, and he acts on his own. Seul Hae eventually finds out about Cha Woong’s hidden intention and rushes to find him.

Cha Woong doesn’t hate the fact that he sees Seul Hae in his dreams, but he’s rather confused about his feelings toward her. That’s when he hears about Hee Soo’s plans to ask Seul Hae to be his lover. Meanwhile, a case report states that there is a similarity between the recent case and the Full Moon Murder. Feeling certain about the correlation, Seul Hae’s emotions begin to affect her rational side.
Episode 8 : The Enemy Within

Head Yoon lies unconscious at the hospital, and it turns out that the culprit is none other than her closest partner. Realizing that she has made the wrong call, Seul Hae starts the investigation from the beginning, focusing on the right suspect. The investigation continues, and Seul Hae and Cha Woong come up with a little magic show that would lead the suspect into confessing the hard evidence.

Realizing that he has a little something for Seul Hae, Cha Woong does his best to impress Seul Hae. While doing volunteer work at an orphanage, men who look like gangsters cause a scene, demanding that Head Yoon, the leader of the civil police unit, sell the land on which the orphanage is built. A few days later, while working at her store alone, Head Yoon gets ambushed, critically hurting her head.

However, Cha Woong chooses to run away from the situation by moving to a new house. Adviser Choi then tries to explain the details regarding the Full Moon Murder, but there is no way for Choi to talk to Seul Hae.

Cha Woong faces the shocking truth regarding Seul Hae’s father, and he decides that he should keep his distance from Seul Hae. On the other hand, Seul Hae is excited to have Cha Woong as her partner and looks forward to solving more crimes together. While filming one of his many magic shows, Cha Woong gets involved in a drug case. At the same time, Seul Hae is following a suspect without realizing the danger lying ahead.

Episode 3 : The General Spirit’s Curse

Death is better than becoming a shaman! Choi Geom, the General Spirit that Cha Woong’s family serves, tries to convince Cha Woong to accept his fate as a shaman. However, Cha Woong endures the General’s curse and refuses to give in. Finally, Geom suggests an alternative solution. Cha Woong joins the Civil Police Unit that Seul Hae is in charge of. His motto? “Work short and effortlessly but impressively!”

Cha Woong tells Seul Hae that he’s working with ghosts, but she says she won’t believe it. Cha Woong shows a demonstration and proves that he’s not the hit-and-run driver, but a medium who can deliver what Min Ho’s spirit wants to say. Although she is persuaded, the real culprit is not easy to catch. With the help of Cha Woong’s ghost employees, Seul Hae goes after the true murderer.
Episode 1 : The Secret Behind Magic Tricks

Seul Hae, a police officer with a strong sense of responsibility, witnesses a mugger steal someone’s purse on the street. She starts to chase the mugger and ends up in a place where Cha Cha Woong performs a magic trick show in front of the audience. Surrounded by the crowd under colourful lights, Seul Hae mistakes Cha Woong for the mugger and tries to arrest him in the middle of the show. Meanwhile, Cha Woong decides to be on a TV show with the secret behind his magic tricks hidden.

The Ghosts of Motley Hall is a British children's television series written by Richard Carpenter which was produced and directed by Quentin Lawrence for Granada Television, and broadcast between 1976 and 1978 on the ITV network. The series relates the adventures of 5 ghosts who haunt Motley Hall. Each ghost is from a different era and all with the exception of Matt are unable to leave the confines of the building and Matt himself is unable to travel outside the grounds of the Hall.
