The Chicago reed player has released over 100 albums with nearly 40 ensembles, spends over eight months per year on the road, and lives every other waking moment composing, arranging, performing—and trying to discipline his two hyperactive canines. Though Vandermark was the recipient of a 1999 MacArthur genius grant, he still spends most of his life in smoky clubs and low-budget recording studios, hoping people will plunk down hard-earned cash to hear his wholly non-commercial music. Kataklysm is a Canadian death metal band. They call their musical style "northern hyperblast" after an advertisement in M.E.A.T. magazine describing another band, Fear Factory, as "hyperblast". The term refers to the extremely fast blast beats that Kataklysm's drummer, Max Duhamel, fuses into the music.

September 10, 2007 at the Teatr Roma Hey second, the Kayah, the artist in Poland appeared on MTV Unplugged concert. The team presented the audience 17 songs including two covers, the first PJ Harvey, second Iggy Pop. The band played this gig for 15 years of existence. Hey was the only Polish band that played live without electricity for the second time. The first took place in autumn 1993 in the studio of Radio Lodz. The City of Light
The City of Light is the second DVD released by Australian hip-hop band Hilltop Hoods. It was released in December 2007 by Obese Records. The City Of Light, documents the making of the platinum certified The Hard Road and the 2007 ARIA award winning The Hard Road: Restrung albums and the touring undertaken by the group in promoting these albums, allowing an insight into the creative dynamic of the group. The City Of Light incorporates two hours of exclusive interviews and music videos, including extensive live and behind the scenes footage from the The Hard Road: Restrung album launch. This performance saw the Hilltop Hoods perform alongside the 31 piece Adelaide Symphony Orchestra to a full house at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
