'MIKUNOPOLIS in LOS ANGELES -Happy to meet you! I'm HATSUNE MIKU- ' was Hatsune Miku's first overseas concert that took place at the NOKIA theatre in Los Angeles, and it will soon be available for all to enjoy on CD, DVD and Blu-Ray! Planned release is for Japan only. The performance was a part of ANIME EXPO 2011, where over 5000 fans were able to enjoy the event live! The concert itself was an improved version of last year's 'Miku's Day Festival -The 39's-' event, and featured guest appearances of Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len and Megurine Luca. A total of 24 songs including some with English lyrics were in the line-up for the concert, and all were performed by a live acoustic band - they were also all recorded so that everyone who was unable to get to the event will still have the chance to enjoy them!

Thin Lizzy: Live at the BBC
Extremely limited eight disc (seven CDs plus NTSC/Region 0 DVD) collection of rare recordings from the Irish rockers. This release is collated from all of the BBC owned Lizzy recordings that still exist in the archive and charts the inexorable rise of the band: from the first steps as a three piece on the Decca label, to the glory days as one of the greatest live acts of all time. This collection brings together a raft of sessions and live recordings form throughout the band's career including the last concert with Phil Lynott from the Reading festival in 1983. Included also is a DVD of the bands sought after appearances on Top of the Pops and the Old Grey Whistle Test a well as concerts from throughout the band's career. This is a first for the band as these recordings have never been available in one place before. With comprehensive notes by Classic Rock's Malcolm Dome who tells the story of the bands history at the BBC. Universal.

Tegan & Sara: Get Along
The first film, States, is a 30-minute documentary that showcases American touring footage and interviews with Tegan and Sara, detailing the early stages of their career and interactions with their fans. The second film, India, is a 25-minute documentary shot during Tegan and Sara's tour of India, utilising interview footage with the band as well as their family and friends. The third film, For the Most Part, is a 70-minute stripped-down studio concert, shot before a live audience of 75 people over two days at The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver.
Cendrillon
Massenet composed his opera about Cenerentola nearly 80 years after Rossini did his. And if you are looking for the outburst of the non-stop hilarity and the musical jokes of Rossini, you won't find it here. Also, while the Cendrillon was highly successful and popular in its time, it does not reach up to the artistic and musical levels offered by Massenet's other operas, like Manon, or Thais or Werther. Nevertheless, this is a delightful opera and it is well presented by The Royal Opera. Laurent Pelly created a ingenious setting with movable walls which are covered [in French] with the story of Cinderella, and which open and close book-like.

Jonathan Davis and the SFA : Live at The Union Chapel
This show is more of a tribute for the fans than any self-adulation on Davis’ part. It’s obvious form his voice when he speaks with the audience just how grateful he is to them, and just who it is he’s putting the show on for. The music reads like Davis’ personal selection of best-ofs, including several songs from ‘Queen of the Damned’ and ‘Spawn’ “Alone I Break”, one of Davis’ favourites, is a high point on the album, but of the 15 tracks on the ones I enjoy the most are “Last Legal Drug”, “Forsaken”, “Redeemer” and “Not Meant For Me.” This is a brilliant must-have for everyone who’s ever been a fan of Korn or Jonathan Davis as a singer and songwriter. From the gothic décor of the Union Chapel venue to the ornately carved throne Davis sat in for most of the performance, this was the perfect setting for the show.
