Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Hollywood is incredible sometimes. Not only they made "Wild things 2" with basically the same plot as the original , but now they made this. "Wild things 3" is essentially a remake of first two movies ! My God. What a lazy and greedy people live in Hollywood. I'm even more surprised that they made "Wild things 4" ! I haven't seen that one and I'm not going too. From what I've heard the only change they made is that they have now 3 sexy girls in it instead of two.This ? This is a waste of time. Even the sex scenes were awful , because the girls are UGLY.Don't watch it. I give it 1/10.

"Tangled" director Jay Lowi's "Wild Things" sequel "Wild Things 3," a.k.a. "Wild Things: Diamonds in the Rough" qualifies as more of the same things as well as tame things. The exotic sunny Florida locations, the treacherous bare-breasted babes, and melodrama galore make the action tolerable to watch, even if the acting has, on the whole, an amateurish spontaneity. Not surprisingly, "Wild Things 2" scribe Andy Hurst, who also penned "Single White Female 2," has things down pat with this second sequel. Like the previous "Things," two gals are looking for the good life, even if it means that a man has to suffer the bad life. Most of the characters lack charisma and they turn on each other in a heartbeat. Eventually, some even wind up paying the piper. Indeed, the only decent, likable character in "Wild Things 3" is ruthlessly taken advantage of and his trust abused. Lowi generates enough momentum with the melodramatic elements in the narrative so that this nonsense doesn't wear out its welcome.Teenager Marie Clifton (Sarah Lang of "American Pie 2") is itching to get her fingers on $4-million dollars worth of diamonds when she turns eighteen, but her stepfather Jay Clifton (Brad Johnson of "Always") is putting up roadblocks. Marie's high school girlfriend suggests that she get a lawyer to fight Jay. During a pool competition where Marie competes, Elena Sandoval (Sandra McCoy of "Cry Wolf") is cleaning up. Jay takes pity on her and invites her to Marie's party. At Marie's party, Marie slaps Elena around in a frisky little catfight and they both wind up in the pool. Later, Elena has a rendezvous with Jay at his construction site. Jay is running behind on a project and the contractors are upset.The next morning Jay finds the police, Detective Michael Morrison (Linden Ashby of "Wyatt Earp") and Kristen Richards (Dana Meyers of "Starship Troopers") at his lush home. They arrest him for the rape of Elena Sandoval and Jay finds himself on trial for a crime that he never committed. Elena, it seems, was on parole, too, at the time. Marie truly hates her now.The Andy Hurst screenplay goes into overdrive during the second half and the co-conspirators come out of the woodwork by the dozens. Meanwhile, Detective Morrison who is getting divorced from his wife discovers that another member of the Blue Bay Police Department has her eyes on him—Detective Kirsten Richards. They get it on in the evidence room because the inevitable call interrupts them.At least, this derivative straight-to-cable melodrama with its wild twists and turns wraps itself up in 87 merciful minutes. The girls look really hot, awesome, and cute and the lesbian love scenes with Lang and McCoy swapping spit in the shower with a bare breast or two between him adds a little sizzle to this jaded saga.

For those who are familiar with the "Wild Things" film series, then you should know that each one follows the same formula: sexy teens, oversexed grown-ups, dumb cops, people who don't seem as they appear, dead bodies and an ending with a twist. And as usual, the action takes place in the hot town of Blue Bay.In the case of "Wild Things:Diamonds in The Rough, we have Marie Clifton (Sarah Laine),who is fighting to get her inheritance left to her. Jay, her father (Brad Johnson),is not making it easy for her to get it. Can't say that you blame her. After all, it is $4 million dollars worth of diamonds. Jay, on the other hand, has issues of his own: his business is in trouble and he's been charged with raping Elena Sandoval (Sandra McCoy),your typical trailer-park teen with a criminal past (complete with an ankle monitor).All evidence points to Jay raping Elena, but Detective Kirsten Richards (Dina Meyer)smells something funny going on. And she's not far off.This made-for-DVD movie is a lot better than the previous entry in the series, but who is involved in the scheme is so obvious. And the opening scenes are similar to the first film (Cops in the school talking about sex crimes, with rowdy teens acting stupid). For fun, you might want to sit back and watch all three and compare them for yourself.

If you have seen the original Wild Things you've already seen the two sequels by default. Actually I hate to use the word sequels when referring to those two "movies" as they're much more akin to bargain basement remakes. None of the quote 'twists and turns' will surprise you in the least, well strike that it does have one or two new twists but they're both so extremely retarded that you'll be lobotomized by just witnessing them. Furthermore the one reason that you'd presumingly ever watch this are the 'hot girls', let me save you some time and money (if you didn't just watch it on Starz like everyone else), see that box art of the film on the main movie page? The women in the film are far from as striking visually and are the least attractive of the other girls in the series. Oh yeah, and a hearty huge fat BOOO to both Sandra McCoy AND Sarah Laine on both relying on body doubles. Neither one of them is going to go anywhere in the film industry with that lame attitude.My Grade: F
