Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Excellent but underrated film
Best movie of this year hands down!
The acting in this movie is really good.
I just watched this film on Netflix.I really liked it .There was alot of depth to the characters and also to the story.Very well acted a great cast. This is'nt your usual Hollywood routine formulaic shoot em up action heist flick ,its alot more mature than that.Definitely recommend.
It's an entertaining and above the average last score-gone-awry movie. Unlike other such movies that include few sociopaths, the main three characters express at times humanity and lack of selfishness, especially Stacy (played by A Brody). The known actors Brody and Malkovich deliver our expectations from them. I found the dog attack scenes too long, though maybe others will like them. To make a point or too pass time, the characters share typical and engaging biographical stories. There are tough images involving dogs. And yes, there's a goof-in one scene we watch from the perspective of a dog; however dogs do not experience the same colours as us.
You know how you spend half an hour flipping thru netflix trying to find a decent movie to watch that you won't be disappointed in? Well, if you are into crime dramas with some good actors, then this is your pick. It's a good netflix popcorn-night movie. Sure not the greatest, not something I'd be happy with if I spend full price at the theater. But good enough to watch on a saturday night netflix binge watch night.
BULLET HEAD is an ambitious but deeply flawed B-movie thriller that fails to work as a thriller in any respect. Shot in Bulgaria in an old warehouse, it involves a trio of thieves tangling with a psychotic dog fighter and his vicious dog. There are a couple of exciting set-pieces but overall this is a muddled, middling kind of film, slowed down by endless flashbacks and contained narratives. The director seems to have an obsession with dogs and I can understand that, because I'm a dog person myself, but this is hardly a film for animal lovers given that most dogs are routinely abused here. The interesting cast includes Adrien Brody, Rory Culkin and John Malkovich, with Antonio Banderas fulfilling the bad guy role.
