Since ancient times, Japan has upheld the tradition of the 12 Zodiac signs. Eto-musumes (Zodiac girls), who have the appearance and behavior of the animals of the Zodiac, are pure hearted messengers who act as a bridge between humans and the gods. Every 60 years, the “ETM 12” tournament takes place in Tokyo’s Akihabara district, where aspiring girls from all over Japan gather for the chance to become the next zodiac sign.

Amato Takeru, a high school student, has just moved to Akihabara. He's chosen a house with cheap rent, but with one particular imperfection: a hole in the living room floor. When he peeks into it, a girl pops out... And so begins the hectic life of Takeru and the cat Eto-musume, Nya-tan.

Episode 2 - A Strange and Loving Ox Relationship

Takeru awakes in the morning to the smell of meat cooking, and finds Nya-tan preparing breakfast over a blazing fire. More and more Eto-shin girls have appeared from the hole in the living room, posing a threat to the peace and quiet of Takeru's life in his new home.

Nya-tan and Uri-tan have made new homes for themselves on Takeru's property (without asking him), and the three of them go shopping for new furniture. Nya-tan has no money, so she tries to get an advance on her paycheck at her part-time job...

Takeru is stuck in bed sick, and the sheep Eto-shin, Mei-tan, determines that what he has is no ordinary cold. With all the Eto-shin going wild as Takeru's Sol/Lull rages out of control, Nya-tan and Mei-tan decide to battle the unknown virus.

Nya-tan messes with Shar-tan's hair ornament and ends up petrified. Shar-tan says she'll need the antidote in order to return to normal and takes Takeru on a journey to find it, but they end up in a place filled with Nya-tan's memories...

Reincarnation is impossible?! When Nya-tan has trouble accepting what happened to Mo-tan in her battle with Chu-tan, Mo-tan entrusts the last of her strength to her beloved Nya-tan. Meanwhile, the Eto-shin do everything they can to save Chu-tan from being engulfed by the negative Sol/Lull gathering within her.

Postcards from Buster is a children's television series for children aged 6–12, containing both animation and live-action that originally aired on Public Broadcasting Service. It is a spin-off of the Arthur cartoon series. The show stars Arthur's best friend, 8-year-old rabbit Buster Baxter. Inspired by a 2003 episode of Arthur entitled "Postcards from Buster", the television series was produced by Cinar and Marc Brown Studios. It first aired October 11, 2004, on PBS Kids Go!. Buster's interests include eating anything, reading comic books, and playing video games. Buster's personality is that of a fairly intelligent and curious child. He also believes that extraterrestrials are real. Buster's parents are divorced; in this series, Buster is seen with his father, Bo Baxter. Arthur Read and many other characters from the PBS Kids Go! animated television series Arthur make cameo appearances in this series, and most episodes have an Arthur character playing a minor role. The series went through a hiatus between November 2008 and February 2012.

North of 60 is a mid-1990s Canadian television series depicting life in the sub-Arctic northern boreal forest. It first aired on CBC Television in 1992 and was syndicated around the world. It is set in the fictional community of Lynx River, a primarily Native-run town depicted as being in the Dehcho Region, Northwest Territories. Most of the characters were Dene. Some non-native characters had important roles: the restaurant/motel owner, the band manager, the nurse and the town's main RCMP officer. The show explored themes of Native poverty, alcoholism, cultural preservation and conflict over land settlements and natural resource exploitation. Originally somewhat light-hearted, it quickly became a more dramatic and ponderous series.

This Hour Has 22 Minutes is a weekly Canadian television comedy that airs on CBC Television. Launched in 1993 during Canada's 35th general election, the show focuses on Canadian politics, combining news parody, sketch comedy and satirical editorials. Originally featuring Cathy Jones, Rick Mercer, Greg Thomey and Mary Walsh, the series featured satirical sketches of the weekly news and Canadian political events. The show's format is a mock news program, intercut with comic sketches, parody commercials and humorous interviews of public figures. The on-location segments are frequently filmed with slanted camera angles. Its full name is a parody of This Hour Has Seven Days, a CBC newsmagazine from the 1960s; the "22 Minutes" refers to the fact that a half-hour television program in Canada and the U.S. is typically 22 minutes long with eight minutes of commercials.
