For years locals thrived here using nothing more than small, handmade canoes, fishing poles and their hands to catch monster fish. Reinventing this ancient art is a new breed of men and women who risk their lives aboard sea kayaks to land lucrative, 100-plus pound species like marlin and tuna. "Pacific Warriors" follows brave adventurers who bring their own techniques to the craft as they take on rough waters, bloodthirsty predators and one another to reel in their trophies.

A reality series following kayak fishers in Hawaii kicks off as Andy and Rob tackle sharks and hunt for a huge tuna; Boogie and Jason battle off-shore currents at Kaena Point; Jon Jon sets out to catch a 500-pound marlin; and free diver Kimi pursues an elusive octopus.
Tensions begin to flair one week into Hawaii's peak kayak fishing season. As Jon Jon treads on Andy and Rob's turf in pursuit of his 500-pound marlin; Kimi tries to break her Ono curse; and pioneer fisherman Isaac takes on a new partner.
Jon Jon must impress a local to gain access to a secret marlin hunting ground; Isaac braves Oahu's jungles to reach a Mahi treasure trove; Adam and Jason battle Kauai's unforgiving seas; and Kimi hunts an invasive species that's hindering her food supply.
Adam and Jason brave Kauai's rough seas to reach 40 Fathom Hook. Over on Oahu's West Side, the competition heats up as Isaac teams up with Kimi to hunt mahimahi; and the Uyeda brothers hook a 145-lb.marlin. Also: Sparks fly when Boogie D. invades Isaac's turf.
The tuna run hits Big Island and the race is on as Isaac goes for 100 pounders with Andy and Rob. Meanwhile, Jon Jon puts his marlin hunt on hold to get into the action; and Devin hooks a monster. On Kauai, the guys get a last shot at their 100-lb. ahi.
At the end of the season, Jon Jon is finally tested by a monster fish; Isaac gets creative to secure his biggest paycheck ever; Boogie gets caught in a life-or-death struggle; and Kimi revisits her spearfishing roots.
