Desperados
Desperados is a CBBC children's drama series following a wheelchair basketball team, created and written by Paul Smith in 2007. It charts the journey of former footballer Charlie who, following a disabling accident on the pitch caused by his friend and team-mate Aidan, finds new meaning and purpose in his life when he joins a team called the Desperados.
Team coach Baggy Awolowo is searching for new players for a junior wheelchair basketball team. He says "You might think this is a basketball team. You're wrong, it's a way of life." Baggy later invites Aidan to joins the Desperados as their only able-bodied player, having been impressed by Aidan's shooting a perfect basket in the gym one day after practice.
There is plenty of drama off the basketball court as well as on it – involving such things as the players' different and sometimes turbulent home lives; Charlie patching up his friendship with Aidan; the players raising money by going street collecting, as well as demonstrating their basketball skills, in order to raise money to keep their team mini-bus on the road so they can continue to travel to away venues and avoid being dropped from the league; and prejudice against disabled people, as is shown when Vicky and Gabby encounter an abusive drunk man at the hotel where the team are staying on the night of an important league away match. The team also have to cope with the sudden and unexpected tragedy of losing their team-mate and captain Adam, who was in hospital having a heart-valve operation and failed to pull through.

Malgudi Days
Malgudi Days is an Indian television series based on the works of R.K. Narayan. The series was directed by Kannada actor and director, Shankar Nag and Carnatic musician L. Vaidyanathan composed the score. R. K Narayan's brother and acclaimed cartoonist R. K. Laxman was the sketch artist. The series was made in 1986 by film producer T. S. Narasimhan with Anant Nag as the lead actor.
Thirty-nine episodes of Malgudi Days were telecast on Doordarshan over three seasons, starting in 1986. The first season was simultaneously made in English and in Hindi. Subsequent seasons were made in Hindi, and have been dubbed into other languages. It was re-telecast on Doordarshan and later on Sony Entertainment Television, and Maa Television in Telugu. This television series was shot entirely near Agumbe in Shimoga District, Karnataka.
In 2004, the project was revived with film-maker Kavitha Lankesh replacing Shankar Nag as director. The new series of fifteen episodes was telecast from April 26, 2006 on Doordarshan.

Tucker's Witch
Tucker's Witch is a 12-episode comedy-detective series that aired on CBS television from October 6, 1982, to November 10, 1982, and again sporadically from March 31 to June 9, 1983. It starred 34-year-old Tim Matheson and 31-year-old Catherine Hicks as a charming married couple, Rick and Amanda Tucker, who own and operate their private detective agency in Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles. Hicks replaced actress Kim Cattrall, who was in the pilot but was removed from the show after the movie Porky's came out and showed Cattrall's racy scene in the gym. In the story line, Amanda's psychic powers become an asset in solving cases but also tend to get the pair into various troubles. In later rebroadcasts on the USA Network, the program was known as The Good Witch of Laurel Canyon.
Catherine Hicks had previously been a soap opera actress on ABC's Ryan's Hope, and received an Emmy nomination for her 1980 performance as Marilyn Monroe in an ABC biopic, and later known to audiences for her role as Annie Camden, the sympathetic, discerning wife of the minister Eric Camden, played by Stephen Collins, in the Warner Brothers family series 7th Heaven. Matheson starred earlier in Robert Young's Window on Main Street and two western series, NBC's The Virginian with James Drury and ABC's The Quest with Kurt Russell, and in various films, including Animal House. He was also the voice of the Jonny Quest cartoon character.

Blackstone
Blackstone is a Canadian television series, which airs on APTN and Showcase. Written, created, directed and produced by Canadian producer Ron E. Scott, the series began filming its eight episodes, plus a pilot, in 2010 in and around Edmonton, Alberta. The second season has concluded and a third season of the series is in development.
Blackstone follows the lives of Indians on the Blackstone Indian reserve. The story is told from an Aboriginal point of view and according to Scott, “Blackstone is relevant and relational in an Aboriginal story world, with universal themes and conflicts that are not only relatable to some First Nations out there today, but also to the world of politics and power in general.
Nathaniel Arcand, Justin Rain and Carmen Moore are three cast members from Blackstone who also starred in the 2010 film Two Indians Talking.
