Synopsis
Cho Yeo Hwa has been a widow for 15 years. Her in-laws are the most prestigious noble family in the area. During the day, she lives quietly at home and never goes outside. But, during the night, Yeo Hwa secretly jumps over the surrounding wall and takes care of people who need help. In the process, she gets involved with Park Soo Ho, and she begins to dream about her future. Meanwhile, Soo Ho is a senior officer. He is good at his job and has an attractive appearance.
Episode 12 : FLOWER THAT BLOOM IN THE NIGHT

Yeo Hwa cannot believe the fact that Sung Hoo already died at the hands of her father-in-law, Ji Sung. Pil Jik also confesses that Ji Sung ordered him to murder Sung Hoo and Im Kang's family. However, even though his sin has been revealed to his family, he does not bat an eye and tries to threaten the King. Yeo Hwa loses her mind and decides to kill him right away.

Ji Sung finds out Soo Ho is the son of the former Head of the King's Guard, and Jeong requests Soo Ho to have a chat with him in private. Meanwhile, the King invites Ji Sung and his family to the palace to celebrate Jeong's return, and a surprise guest awaits them.

From Yoon Hak and Su Ho, Yeo Hwa discovers that Ji Sung had her marry into his family to have leverage over her brother, Sung Hoo. Also, Su Ho tells him about his true identity and his parents. They believe Sung Hoo is the one who has the evidence of Ji Sung's treason. Meanwhile, Geum Ok leaves the house to pray for her son in the temple, and Jeong returns home.

So Woon looks into Nan Kyung's background and relays the information to Soo Ho. Yeo Hwa also gets a tip from Nan Kyung that her brother's disappearance is related to the matter at the palace. Yeo Hwa asks Ji Sung about her brother, but he tries to hide the truth from her. When Ji Sung secretly leaves the house in the middle of the night, Yeo Hwa follows him.

Yeo Hwa and Soo Ho find where Pil Jik has been hiding kidnapped children in Pil Inn. They manage to rescue them but are at odds again about where to take the children. Soo Ho wants to take them to the Capital Defense as witnesses to Pil Jik's crime, but Yeo Hwa wants to send them to a safe place first. Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance passes away, and his servant gets arrested as a suspect of murder.

Soo Ho visits Myungdo Inn to get the painting fixed and runs into the masked hero. She lets him know that Pil Jik has been kidnapping children from shantytown. Soo Ho decides to take care of it as the officer of Capital Defense and tells her to get her hands off the matter. Meanwhile, the King and Yoon Hak look for the members of the late King's guards.

Soo Ho realizes Kang Pil Jik of Pil Merchant Guild is also searching for the painting that Yeo Hwa stole from the Minister of Finance. Meanwhile, Yeo Hwa attends a relief with her mother-in-law and high officials' wives, and a child goes missing out of the blue.

Yeo Hwa decides to save Kknot Nim by herself. The moment she walks into Pil Inn with her face covered up, she spots Kkot Nim taken away by Soo Ho, the officer of the Capital Defense. Medical Investigation was an American medical drama television series that began September 9, 2004, on NBC. It ran for 20 one-hour episodes before being cancelled in 2005. The series was co-produced by Paramount Network Television and NBC Universal Television Studio The former controls North American distribution rights, while the latter distributes outside North America.
The series featured the cases of an elite team of medical experts of the National Institutes of Health who investigate unusual public-health crises, such as sudden outbreaks of serious and mysterious diseases. In actuality, medical investigative duties in the United States are normally the responsibility of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health departments, while the NIH is primarily a disease-research and -theory organization.
The series existed in the same television universe as Third Watch and, by extension ER. A special two-part crossover event aired on February 18, 2005, establishing the television-universe connection by featuring the Third Watch and Medical Investigation teams working together in MI's Episode 17: "Half Life" and Third Watch's Episode 16 of the sixth season: "In the Family Way". The story was about a series of Marburg virus cases in New York.
