His painting research hits a bump as a leading valuer admits she cannot put a price on Antonietta Gonzalez as she cannot be seen. All concerned hope a high-tech and rarely available scan will reveal her in all her colourful glory

Daniel draws closer to finding out about Antonietta Gonzalez, as a technical evaluation reveals that the painting is almost certainly from the 1500s, leading him closer to believing he has Ulisse Aldrovandi's lost masterpiece

In this episode, Daniel buys 12 half-sized, very rare carousel horses in a state of disrepair and the team embarks on an ambitious project to restore them using only repurposed materials. Visitors from the USA come to the yard and collaborate with Daniel on a reclamation project and Daniel's favourite painting is X-rayed - with some very exciting results
