3 op Reis is a travel program hosted by Floortje Dessing and Sebastiaan Labrie. In addition to the fixed hosts there is a guest host, who explores an eco-destination.
Episode 30 : Alaska - Switzerland

Floortje has arrived at her final destination Dutch Harbor, Alaska. This state on the Pacific Ocean is best known for the "Deadliest Catch" television show. Floortje takes a look at one of the ships in the harbor.
Dennis is in Switzerland along four places that you would not expect... away from the cliché.
Episode 29 : Alaska - Cameroon

Floortje is almost at her final destination: Dutch Harbor, Alaska. Before she gets on the boat she visits just outside the capital of Anchorage a wildlife reserve where they care for hundreds of displaced animals.
Patrick is in the African Cameroon where he goes towards the coast to see what can be found in the tourism sector.
Episode 28 : Seattle - Isles of Scilly

Dennis reist binnen Europa naar een Engelse tropische verrassing, Isles of Scilly. Hij ontdekt hier waarom Nederland tot eind twintigste eeuw in oorlog was met dit zonnige eiland en hij ontdekt de betekenis van "onderwater love". Floortje is in Seattle waar ze een van de mooiste en bijzonderste appartementen van de stad bezoekt. Daarnaast ziet ze met eigen ogen hoe jumbojets geproduceerd worden in de grootste fabriekshal ter wereld.
Episode 27 : Lake Nyos - Mount Rainier

Deze week reist Patrick naar het westen van Kameroen. Hier maakt hij kennis met een koning en een van zijn vele koninginnen in een mini-koninkrijkje. Daarnaast bezoekt hij ook het dodelijke meer Nyos waar ooit een giftige gaswolk ontsnapte waardoor alle levende wezens in de omgeving stierven. En Floortje is onderweg naar Seattle aan de westkust van de USA, maar voor ze daar aankomt stopt ze bij het jaarlijkse houthakkersfestival.
Episode 26 : Christchurch - Ardennen

Zondag bezoekt onze Chris het zwaar beschadigde Christchurch in Nieuw-Zeeland. Een aantal jaren geleden werd deze stad kort achter elkaar getroffen door twee zware aardbevingen, met ernstige gevolgen die nu nog volop te zien zijn. Maar er heerst ook optimisme in de stad en dat voel je nog meer! Geraldine weet wel hoe ze moet reizen. En dat je daarvoor niet ver van huis hoeft te zijn blijkt wel in de Ardennen. Actief abseilen, of door donkere grotten klimmen wordt afgewisseld met chillen in de sauna bij het huisje of gewoon zelfs in een heuse spa in Spa.

Chris is in New Zealand. He begins his journey in sunny Wellington and travels to the South Island, where, of course, nature is central.
Katja is in Costa Rica. It isn't called the Green Paradise for nothing. Everywhere she goes, people are working on this. The eco lodge, where she ends her journey, making that name quite true.
Episode 23 : Meghalaya - Montana

Dennis maakt in 3 op reis een indrukwekkende reis door India. Hij bereikt de provincie Meghalaya in het noordoosten. De bevolking hier is erg bedreven in het bouwen van 'levende' bruggen over de talrijke rivieren.
Die rivieren hebben het landschap voorzien van indrukwekkende kloven en schitterende watervallen. Een prachtig gezicht, maar het bijzonderst zijn toch wel de natuurlijke bruggen in het gebied. Om op strategische punten de vele rivieren te kunnen oversteken, maken de mensen er gebruik van groeiende bomen en lianen. Die worden op een ingenieuze manier gevlochten en gecultiveerd, waardoor ze in de juiste richting blijven groeien. Bedekt met aarde en stenen, zijn sommige bruggen al vijfhonderd jaar oud en wel dertig meter lang.
Verenigde Staten
Ook Floortje is in 3 op reis bezig met een lange tocht. Ze is met een oceaanstomer de grote plas overgestoken en trekt inmiddels al enkele weken door de Verenigde Staten. Nu komt ze aan in het mijnwerkersstadje Butte in de staat Montana. Uiteindelijk is het de bedoeling dat Floortje haar lange reis in de komende afleveringen beëindigt in Alaska.
Episode 22 : Nicaragua - Varanasi

Katja Schuurman continues her journey through Nicaragua. From the island of Ometepe she takes the overnight ferry across Lake Nicaragua. After a trip through the rain forest, she travels further towards the more famous neighbor Costa Rica.
Dennis Storm travels further through India. He is in Varanasi, the holy city of Hinduism where life takes place largely in and on the holy river Ganges. He experiences an evening fire ceremony on the banks of the river.

Nicolette travels to the Moroccan royal city of Fez. Here she will learn about life of the souks as they teach her to make Tanjya, the little brother of the famous tajine dish.
Floortje is in the US state of South Dakota sightseeing Mount Rushmore. A place where five heads of US presidents are carved out of the rocks. When visiting the city of Sturgis she encounters one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the world.
